City Solicitor means the City employee holding that office or, if applicable, the successor to the authority or responsibility of such office;
Telephone solicitor means any person doing business in this state who makes or causes to be made a telephone solicitation from within or outside of this state, including, but not limited to, calls made by use of automated dialing and announcing devices or by a live person.
Professional solicitor means any person who, for a financial or other consideration, solicits
Vendor’s Solicitors means Baker & McKenzie or Chu & Lau (as the casemaybe, please refer to the first page of this tender document); and
Buyer’s Solicitors means Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx LLP of 0 Xxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx XX0X 0XX;
Seller’s Solicitors means Xxxxxxxxx and May of Xxx Xxxxxxx Xxx, Xxxxxx, XX0X 0XX;
Solicitor means any person, firm or corporation who goes from dwelling to dwelling, business to business, place to place, or from street to street, taking or attempting to take orders for any goods, wares or merchandise, or personal property of any nature whatever for future delivery, except that the term shall not include solicitors for charitable and religious purposes and solicitors for subscriptions as those terms are defined below.
Purchaser’s Solicitors means Xxxxx & XxXxxxxx of 000 Xxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx XX0X 0XX;
County Superintendent means the Executive County Superintendent of Schools designated by the Department of Education for this school district.
County clerk means the county clerk or the county official in charge of elections.
County Auditor means the Greenville County Auditor, or the person holding any successor office of the County.
County Attorney means the County Attorney of the County of Suffolk.
County Engineer means the holder of the statutory office of County Engineer for Harris County or the employee designated by the County Engineer to perform a task required by these Regulations.
County of residence means the county in this state in which, at the time a person applies for or receives services, the person is living and has established an ongoing presence with the declared, good faith intention of living in the county for a permanent or indefinite period of time. The county of residence of a person who is a homeless person is the county where the homeless person usually sleeps. A person maintains residency in the county in which the person last resided while the person is present in another county receiving services in a hospital, a correctional facility, a halfway house for community-based corrections or substance-related treatment, a nursing facility, an intermediate care facility for persons with an intellectual disability, or a residential care facility, or for the purpose of attending a college or university. (IC 331.394(1)a)
County officer 56032. "County officer" means a member of the board of
barrister means the barrister, practising as a member of the Bar of England and Wales, who is supplying the Services in accordance with the Agreement; a "Business Day" means a day that is neither a weekend nor a public holiday in England;
County Counsel means County’s Office of the County Counsel.
County office means any officer, department, board, commission, agency, court, or other instrumentality of a county.
Deputy sheriff means any person who is commissioned and employed as a full-time peace officer by the sheriff of any county, and has been so employed since on or before December 31, 1965; any person who is or has been commissioned and employed as a peace officer by the sheriff of any county since January 1, 1966, and who has received a certificate attesting to the person's satisfactory completion of the peace officer training school as required by section 109.77 of the Revised Code; or any person deputized by the sheriff of any county and employed pursuant to section 2301.12 of the Revised Code as a criminal bailiff or court constable who has received a certificate attesting to the person's satisfactory completion of the peace officer training school as required by section 109.77 of the Revised Code.
County Representative means the individual obligated to perform the duties of county representative under section 9.
Notary public means an individual commissioned to perform a notarial act by the secretary of state.
County Manager means the County Manager appointed by the County Council pursuant to the Luzerne County Charter;
Surveyor-General means the Surveyor-General as defined in the Land Survey Act, 1997 (Act No. 8 of 1997);
Surveyor means a professional surveyor licensed under article 20 of the occupational code, 1980 PA 299, MCL 339.2001 to 339.2014.
LLP means a limited liability partnership as defined under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008;
Commissioners Court means Travis County Commissioners Court.
