Customs offense definition

Customs offense means any violation or attempted violation of the Customs laws;
Customs offense means any violation of the customs laws as well as any attempted violation thereof;
Customs offense means: any contravention of customs law as defined by the national legislation of each Contracting Party as well as any such attempted contravention;

Customs offense means any violation against the Customs laws as well as any attempt to commit any violation against such laws, including commercial fraud, smuggling of goods or substances harmful to the environment or health, narcotic drugs, arms, ammunition, antiques of historical, cultural or archaeological value and endangered plants and animals, and infringement of intellectual property rights;

  • Uniform Customs the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (1993 Revision), International Chamber of Commerce Publication No. 500, as the same may be amended from time to time.

  • Alcohol abuse means any pattern of pathological use of alcohol that causes impairment in social or occupational functioning, or that produces physiological dependency evidenced by physical tolerance or by physical symptoms when it is withdrawn.

  • Standard Letter of Credit Practice means, for Issuing Bank, any domestic or foreign law or letter of credit practices applicable in the city in which Issuing Bank issued the applicable Letter of Credit or, for its branch or correspondent, such laws and practices applicable in the city in which it has advised, confirmed or negotiated such Letter of Credit, as the case may be, in each case, (a) which letter of credit practices are of banks that regularly issue letters of credit in the particular city, and (b) which laws or letter of credit practices are required or permitted under ISP or UCP, as chosen in the applicable Letter of Credit.

  • customs authorities means customs authorities as defined in Article 5, point (1), of Regulation (EU) No 952/2013;
