Date of Acceptance means the date, which appears on the Notice of Acceptance and if no date appears is the date on which the Principal sent the Notice of Acceptance accepting the Contractor’s Tender.
Date of sale means the date (normally shown on the instru- ment of conveyance or sale) that ownership of or title to real proper- ty, or control of the controlling interest in an entity that has a beneficial interest in real property, is delivered to the buyer/trans- feree in exchange for valuable consideration. In the case of a lease with option to purchase, the date of sale is the date when the pur- chase option is exercised and the property is transferred. "Date of sale," "date of transfer," "conveyance date," and "transaction date" all have the same meaning and may be used interchangeably in this chapter. The real estate excise tax is due on the date of sale.
Date of Commencement of Risk means the date specified in the Schedule (unless the Policyholder is informed otherwise by the Company) from which the risk cover of the Life Assured commences under the Policy.
Date of Contract means the date on which notification of award of contract/letter of award/telex award has been issued.
Date The Effective Date (as defined in the Funding Agreement)
Scheme Year means a period of one year beginning with 1st April and ending with 31st March;
the commencement date means the date on which the Contract shall take effect, as notified by the Authority to the Contractor in a letter awarding the Contract.
Service Commencement Date means the date the Transmission Provider begins to provide service pursuant to the terms of an executed Service Agreement, or the date the Transmission Provider begins to provide service in accordance with Tariff, Part II, section 15.3 or Tariff, Part III, section 29.1.
