Day Employees. definition

Day Employees.The term "Shift Employees" shall be deemed to mean employees who are regularly employed for a specified shift in the unit, which, of necessity, operates continuously twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. All other employees shall be deemed to be "Day Employees." It is mutually understood and agreed that for the purposes herein, regular employees of the following units are "Shift Employees":

  • New Year's Day, Decoration Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Employee's birthday and 2 personal days.

  • Paid Holidays New Year's Day Xxxxxxx's Birthday President's Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Columbus Day Veteran's Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Employees must work at least one day in the payroll week in which the holiday occurs to receive the paid holiday Shift Rates Off Shift: double time the regular hourly rate.

  • Provided that if called out on a public holiday payment shall be calculated at the rate prescribed in 3.3.4 of Clause 3.3 – Call Outs – Day Employees of this award.

  • Employees shall receive eleven (11) full paid holidays, and one (1) personal day as follows: New Year's Day Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day President's Day Memorial Day (last Monday in May) Independence Day (July 4) Labor Day Columbus Day (second Monday in October) Thanksgiving Day The day following Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Day Christmas Day Personal Leave Day Employees may carry one personal day over to the following year not to exceed two (2) personal days per year.

  • The two additional holidays will be designated separately for Day Employees and Shift Employees.

  • During the non-holiday days which fall between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, Employees may use paid or unpaid leave in accordance with other sections of this contract.

  • Length of Work Day Employees shall begin their work day twenty-five (25) minutes before the students’ school day begins and shall continue until a minimum of twenty-five (25) minutes after the students’ school day ends.

Related to Day Employees.

  • Company Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.10(a).

  • Business Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 4.10(a).

  • Retained Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 8.1.

  • Hired Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.5(a).

  • Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.

  • Former Employees means Former Parent Group Employees and Former SpinCo Group Employees.

  • Current Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 5.6(a).

  • Designated Employees means a person occupying any of the following position in the Company:

  • Transferred Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(a).

  • Other Employees means, all the employees other than the Directors, KMPs and the Senior Management Personnel.

  • Continuing Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.9(a).

  • Seller Employees shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 7.4(a) hereof.

  • Excluded Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 2.5(a)(iv).

  • Union Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.12(a).

  • Affected Employees means those employees who are exposed to the hazard(s) identified as a violation(s) in a citation.

  • Casual Employees are employed on an "on call" basis to cover absences due to sick leave, vacation, or other approved leaves, or to augment staff during peak periods or periods of staff shortage.

  • Part-Time Employees means employees employed on a permanent basis, but obligated to work less than a full (i.e., forty-hour) work week.

  • Employees Stock Option” means the option given to the directors, officers or employees of a company or of its holding company or subsidiary company or companies, if any, which gives such directors, officers or employees, the benefit or right to purchase, or to subscribe for, the shares of the company at a future date at a pre-determined price.

  • Permanent Employees means all employees who are not casual employees, or employees working in a long-term supply assignment, as defined below.

  • Key Employees means Xxxxx Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx.

  • Temporary Employees means those employees hired to replace regular employees absent due to illness, accident, vacation, leave of absence, etc., or hired to perform work on projects or assignments of limited duration. The employment of temporary employees hired to perform work on projects or assignments of limited duration shall be limited to a period of ninety (90) days of work in any twelve (12) month period, commencing from the date of hire or commencement of employment in such period. The period of employment for temporary employees hired for all other purposes shall be limited to twelve (12) months. A project or assignment of limited duration shall not exceed eighteen (18) weeks’ duration in any twelve (12) month period. Any projects or assignments of limited duration in excess of that provided for herein will be posted.

  • Separated employees means persons who separate from

  • Relevant Employees means the employees who may be affected by a change referred to in subclause (1).

  • Business Employee means any individual employed by Seller in or in connection with the Business.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • Technical Employees means those employees having special and specific engineering, geological or other professional skills, and whose primary function in Joint Operations is the handling of specific operating conditions and problems for the benefit of the Joint Property.
