Dedicated Well definition

Dedicated Well means any Well that is now completed or may be hereafter completed with a surface location within the Dedicated Area, and in which Shipper, Producer or either of their affiliates own a working interest.
Dedicated Well means any oil and/or gas well (i) to the extent producing hydrocarbons and associated Produced Water from or attributable to one or more Dedicated Leases, (ii) in which Producer and/or any Affiliate of Producer owns a working interest, and (iii) that is operated by Producer or any Affiliate of Producer.

Examples of Dedicated Well in a sentence

  • Each Receipt Point will be at a location on or adjacent to the pad for each Dedicated Well on a site designated and provided by Shipper, or at another location mutually agreed upon by Shipper and Gatherer.

  • In the event one or more parties has insufficient Market for its Gas, then Gatherer will continue to receive all other parties’ Gas in such Dedicated Well with Market and may curtail the party or parties whose nominations are not confirmed and scheduled by the downstream pipeline until such party secures Market for its Gas.

  • Any potential imbalance created in such Dedicated Well and any liability therefor shall remain with Shipper and any individual producer parties in the Dedicated Well, and Gatherer will have no further obligation or liability to such parties other than to receive Gas at the Receipt Point for the Dedicated Well and provide the gathering services as provided in this Agreement.

  • At the request of a Shipper, Gatherer shall install a meter at a Dedicated Well pad to furnish gas for gas lift, fuel, or other wellhead purposes (a “Gas Lift Meter”).

  • Our aim is to catch the child doing good things, to notice and reinforce positive behaviour.

  • Any request by Shipper for Gatherer to connect a Dedicated Well to a System (“Connection Request”) will be in writing and will contain Shipper’s best estimate of the date of first production for a specified Well.

  • If Gatherer elects to connect the Dedicated Well, Gatherer will use reasonable commercial efforts to ensure that the Dedicated Well is connected to the System by: (a) the date requested by Shipper; or (b) if not connected by the date requested by the Shipper, as soon thereafter as practicable.

  • Should one or more parties in a Dedicated Well gathered by Gatherer hereunder make nominations that are not confirmed and scheduled by a downstream pipeline (including, without limitation, as a result of an event of Force Majeure or a downstream pipeline operational flow order), such party will be deemed to have insufficient Market for its Gas.

  • In the event that a Gas Lift Meter is no longer needed at a particular Dedicated Well Pad, Gatherer and Shipper will work together to remobilize the Gas Lift Meter at a mutually agreeable site without additional direct cost to the Shipper.

  • As soon as practicable, but no later than sixty (60) Days after Gatherer receives a written Connection Request, Gatherer will elect, by written notice to Shipper, whether or not Gatherer will connect the Dedicated Well.

Related to Dedicated Well

  • Abandoned well means a well whose use has been permanently discontinued or which is in a state of disrepair such that it cannot be used for its intended purpose or for observation purposes.

  • Shallow well means a well located and constructed in such a manner that there is not a continuous layer of low-permeability soil or rock (or equivalent retarding mechanism acceptable to the department) at least 5 feet thick, the top of which is located at least 25 feet below the normal ground surface and above the aquifer from which water is to be drawn.

  • Dedicated FX Traffic means those calls routed by means of a physical, dedicated circuit delivering dial tone or otherwise serving an End User’s station from a serving Central Office (also known as End Office) located outside of that station’s mandatory local calling area. Dedicated FX Service permits the End User physically located in one exchange to be assigned telephone numbers resident in the serving Central (or End) Office in another “foreign” exchange, thereby creating a local presence in that “foreign” exchange.

  • Dedicated Transport means CenturyLink transmission facilities between Wire Centers or switches owned by CenturyLink, or between Wire Centers or switches owned by CenturyLink and switches owned by CLEC, including, but not limited to, DS1, DS3, and OCn-capacity level services, as well as Dark Fiber, dedicated to a particular End User Customer or carrier.

  • Injection well means a well into which fluids are injected. (See also “underground injection”.)

  • Water well means an excavation that is drilled, cored, bored, augered, washed, driven, dug, jetted, or otherwise constructed for the purpose of exploring for groundwater, monitoring groundwater, utilizing the geothermal properties of the ground, or extracting water from or injecting water into the aquifer. “Water well” does not include an open ditch or drain tiles or an excavation made for obtaining or prospecting for oil, natural gas, minerals, or products mined or quarried.

  • Oil well means any well capable of producing oil or oil and casinghead gas from a common source of supply as determined by the commission.

  • Gas well means a well producing gas or natural gas from a common source of gas supply as determined by the commission.

  • Deep well means a well located and constructed in such a manner that there is a continuous layer of low permeability soil or rock at least 5 feet thick located at least 25 feet below the normal ground surface and above the aquifer from which water is to be drawn.

  • stratigraphic test well means a drilling effort, geologically directed, to obtain information pertaining to a specific geologic condition. Ordinarily, such wells are drilled without the intention of being completed for hydrocarbon production. They include wells for the purpose of core tests and all types of expendable holes related to hydrocarbon exploration. Stratigraphic test wells are classified as (i) "exploratory type" if not drilled into a proved property; or (ii) "development type", if drilled into a proved property. Development type stratigraphic wells are also referred to as "evaluation wells".

  • Development Well means a well drilled inside the established limits of an oil or gas reservoir, or in close proximity to the edge of the reservoir, to the depth of a stratigraphic horizon known to be productive.

  • Test Well means a well constructed for the purpose of obtaining information needed to design a well prior to its construction. Test wells are cased and can be converted to observation or monitoring wells and under certain circumstances to production wells

  • Drill means a response to a planned, simulated event.

  • Horizontal well means a well bore drilled laterally at an angle of at least eighty (80) degrees to the vertical or with a horizontal projection exceeding one hundred (100) feet measured from the initial point of penetration into the productive formation through the terminus of the lateral in the same common source of supply.

  • Gathering System means that portion of Gatherer’s pipeline system, including all appurtenances thereto, related to the provision of gathering and transportation services provided by Gatherer pursuant to this tariff.

  • Dedicated check source means a radioactive source that is used to assure the constant operation of a radiation detection or measurement device over several months or years. This source may also be used for other purposes.

  • mining area means all those pieces of land containing two hundred and forty‑six (246) square miles or thereabouts situate in what is known to the parties as the “Xxx Xxxxx‑Siberia Nickel Laterite Area” the subject of the mineral claims applications for mineral claims and Temporary Reserves listed in the First Schedule hereto which are generally delineated and respectively coloured green and orange and red in the plan marked “X” signed by or on behalf of the parties for the purpose of identification;

  • Well-logging means all operations involving the lowering and raising of measuring devices or tools that may contain sources of radiation into well-bores or cavities for the purpose of obtaining information about the well or adjacent formations.

  • Exploratory Well means a well that is not a development well, a service well or a stratigraphic test well.

  • service well means a well drilled or completed for the purpose of supporting production in an existing field. Wells in this class are drilled for the following specific purposes: gas injection (natural gas, propane, butane or flue gas), water injection, steam injection, air injection, salt water disposal, water supply for injection, observation or injection for combustion.

  • Exploration Well means a well that is not a development well, a service well or a stratigraphic test well.

  • Paying quantities as used herein shall mean and refer to quantities of oil and gas or of either of them sufficient to pay for the current cost of producing same.

  • mining areas means the areas delineated and coloured red on the Plan marked “A” initialled by or on behalf of the parties hereto for the purposes of identification;

  • Built-Up Area and/or “Covered Area” in relation to a Flat shall mean the floor area of that Flat including the area of balconies and terraces, if any attached thereto, and also the thickness of the walls (external or internal) and the columns and pillars therein Provided That if any wall, column or pillar be common between two Flats, then one-half of the area under such wall column or pillar shall be included in the built-up area of each such Flat.

  • Infiltration means water other than wastewater that enters a sewer system (including sewer system and foundation drains) from the ground through such means as defective pipes, pipe joints, connections, or manholes. Infiltration does not include, and is distinguished from, inflow.

  • Subject Lands means the lands subject to or covered by the oil and gas leases described in Exhibit A, insofar and only insofar as they cover the Target Formation, subject to the exceptions, exclusions and reservations set forth on such Exhibit A.
