Co-Applicant means an employer or potential employer.
Job applicant means a person, independent contractor, or person working for an independent contractor who applies to become an employee of the school district in a position that does not require a commercial driver’s license, and includes a person who has received a job offer made contingent on the person’s passing drug or alcohol testing. Job applicants for positions requiring a commercial driver’s license are governed by the provisions of the school district’s drug and alcohol testing policy relating to school bus drivers (Section III.).
single applicant means an applicant who neither has a partner nor is a lone parent;
Additional Cardholder means the person you have authorised to use a prepaid card connected to your account, who you agree is authorised to undertake transactions on your behalf and who is also subject to these terms and conditions
Land use applicant means a property owner, or the property owner's designee, who submits a land use application regarding the property owner's land.
The applicant means the person seeking the planning permission, not an agent acting on his or her behalf.

Alternate applicant in case of a minor means the parent/step-parent/court guardian who has made the application on behalf of the minor;
child tax credit means a child tax credit under section 8 of the Tax Credits Act 2002;
Administrative User means any of Your employees, consultants, independent contractors or customers to whom You grant administrative permission to access the Services in accordance with Company’s entitlements and procedures and this Agreement (where “administrative permission” includes, but is not limited to, the right to create, modify and delete User accounts, as well as the right to access and modify Your billing information and other functionality available through Company’s administrative control panel).
Applicant shall have the meaning given to such term in Section 5.10.
Billing Adjustment Credit To provide Customer the benefit of the rates and discounts in the Amendment as of the Effective Date and until such rates and discounts are implemented, the Company shall provide Customer with a one-time billing adjustment credit equal to $152,300.00 plus applicable taxes and surcharges. This credit shall compensate Customer for the difference between the Tariff/Guide/list rates invoiced during the 1st full billing cycle following Customer's signature date above and the rates and discounts in this Agreement.
Project applicant means the person submitting a Landscape Documentation Package required under Section 2.1 to request a permit, plan check, or design review from the local agency. A project applicant may be the property owner or his or her designee.
FATCA Deduction means a deduction or withholding from a payment under a Finance Document required by FATCA.
NERC Interchange Distribution Calculator means the NERC mechanism that is in effect and being used to calculate the distribution of energy, over specific transmission interfaces, from energy transactions.
Draft means a draft as defined in section 3104 or an item, other than an instrument, that is an order.
Deduction means the amount that is treated as deductible from the taxable income under the laws of the payer or investor jurisdiction. The term 'deductible' shall be construed accordingly.
Tax Authority means, with respect to any Tax, the governmental entity or political subdivision thereof that imposes such Tax, and the agency (if any) charged with the collection of such Tax for such entity or subdivision.
Other Tax means any Federal Other Tax, State Other Tax, or Foreign Other Tax.
Account Opening Application Form means the application form/questionnaire completed by the Client, on-line on the Company’s Website and/or mobile application(s) and/or in hard copy, in order to apply for the Company’s Services under the Agreement and a Client Account, via which form/questionnaire the Company will obtain amongst other things information for the Client’s identification and due diligence, financial profile and appropriateness in accordance with the Applicable Regulations.
Qualified applicant means an owner or lessee of a qualified
Tax Invoice means the document as required by Section 20 of the VAT Act, as may be amended from time to time;
Agreed Deductions means any deductions the Agency Worker has agreed can be made from their pay;
Premium tax means a tax paid by insurance companies to provincial and territorial governments calculated as a percentage of gross premiums written.
Indemnified Tax means (a) Taxes, other than Excluded Taxes, imposed on or with respect to any payment made by or on account of any obligation of a Credit Party under any Loan Document and (b) to the extent not otherwise described in clause (a), Other Taxes.
Account Application Form means the Personal Account Application Form for International Personal Banking or Wealth and Investment as applicable;
