Dependent System Failure definition

Dependent System Failure means an unintentional and unplanned interruption of computer systems operated by a Dependent Business. Dependent System Failure will not include any interruption of computer systems resulting from (i) a Dependent Security Breach, or (ii) the interruption of computer systems that are not operated by a Dependent Business.
Dependent System Failure means an unplanned outage, interruption, failure, suspension or degradation of service of a Service Provider Computer System caused directly by: (a) unauthorized access to, or unauthorized use of, a Service Provider Computer System, including any such unauthorized access or unauthorized use resulting from the theft of a password; (b) a Denial of Service Attack against a Service Provider Computer System; (c) infection of a Service Provider Computer System by malicious code; (d) an Act of Cyber Terrorism; (e) accidental damage to, or destruction of, electronic media or computer hardware; or (f) administrative or operational mistakes by an Outsourced IT Service Provider in the ongoing operation or maintenance of its Service Provider Computer System.

  • Dependent Business Loss that the Insured Organisation sustains as a result of a Dependent Security Breach or a Dependent System Failure that the Insured first discovers during the Policy Period.

  • The period beginning after the expiration of the Waiting Period and continues until 90 days after the date and time that the Insured Company’s business operations are restored, or could have been restored had the Insured acted with due diligence and dispatch, to the condition that existed immediately prior to the Cyber Breach Event, System Failure, Dependent Business Interruption or Dependent System Failure.

  • Reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Insured Company to minimize the interruption of the Insured Company’s business that are over and above those expenses the Insured Company ordinarily would have incurred to conduct its business had no Cyber Breach Event, System Failure, Dependent Business Interruption or Dependent System Failure occurred.

  • In no event will the Period of Restoration exceed 365 days following a Cyber Breach Event, System Failure, Dependent Business Interruption or Dependent System Failure.

  • Dependent System Failure will not include any interruption of computer systems resulting from (i) a Dependent Security Breach, or (ii) the interruption of computer systems that are not operated by a Dependent Business.

  • Contractor represents and warrants that, as required by state law (RCW 42.56.640, RCW 42.56.645, and RCW 43.17.410), it agrees to fully comply will all applicable non-disclosure requirements that pertain to the Sensitive Personal Information of In- home Caregivers.

  • Terminal disease means an incurable and irreversible disease that has been medically confirmed and will, within reasonable medical judgment, produce death within six months.

  • Routine patient care costs means Covered Medical Expenses which are typically provided absent a clinical trial and not otherwise excluded under the Policy. Routine patient care costs do not include:

  • Fraud Monitoring System means an off-line administration system that monitors suspected occurrences of ABT- related fraud.

  • Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • Epidemic Failure means a series of repeating failures or defects resulting in at least a 0.5% failure rate for the same Product or Material during any twelve-month period.
