Denial of Service Attack definition

Denial of Service Attack means an attack intended by the perpetrator to overwhelm the capacity of a Computer System by sending an excessive volume of electronic data to such Computer System in order to prevent authorized access to such Computer System.

Denial of Service Attack means any actions or instructions constructed or generated with the ability to damage interfere with or otherwise affect the availability of networks network services network connectivity or information systems. Denial of Service Attacks include but are not limited to the generation of excess traffic into network addresses the exploitation of system or network weakness and the generation of excess or non-genuine traffic between and amongst networks.

Denial of Service Attack means an intentional attack against a target computer or network of computers designed to overwhelm the capacity of the target computer or network in order to deny or impede authorized users from gaining access to the target computer or network through the Internet.
