Desalinated Water definition

Desalinated Water means Potable Water and Distillate Water.
Desalinated Water means the treated seawater produced by the Victorian Desalination Project;
Desalinated Water or "Satisfactory Desalinated Water" shall be the desalinated water, as produced by the Plant, and delivered to the Corporation having a chloride concentration not exceeding 250 mg/L and meeting all quality requirements as stated on the Plant Performance Guarantees, and meeting World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, latest issue as of December 1, 2003, for potable water, with the exception of boron. The standard for boron shall be less than 1.5 mg/1 for the purposes of this Agreement. The Desalinated Water shall be free of any contaminants, in quantities, which may be injurious to the public health, shall be odorless and colorless and have a pleasant taste to the average person, and shall be fully safe and suitable for ingestion by human beings, long term, all as set forth in the said guidelines.

  • Finished water means the water that is introduced into the distribution system of a public water system and is intended for distribution and consumption without further treatment, except as treatment necessary to maintain water quality in the distribution system (e.g., booster disinfection, addition of corrosion control chemicals).

  • Produced water means water recovered from an underground reservoir as a result of crude oil, condensate, or natural gas production and which may be recycled, disposed, or re-injected into an underground reservoir.

  • Bottled water means water that is placed in a safety sealed container or package for human 696 consumption. Bottled water is calorie free and does not contain sweeteners or other additives except 697 that it may contain: (i) antimicrobial agents; (ii) fluoride; (iii) carbonation; (iv) vitamins, minerals, and 698 electrolytes; (v) oxygen; (vi) preservatives; and (vii) only those flavors, extracts, or essences derived 699 from a spice or fruit. "Bottled water" includes water that is delivered to the buyer in a reusable 700 container that is not sold with the water.

  • Brine means all saline geological formation water resulting from, obtained from, or produced in connection with exploration, drilling, well stimulation, production of oil or gas, or plugging of a well.

  • Process Gas means gas used for which alternate fuels, other than another gaseous fuel, are not technically feasible such as in applications requiring precise temperature controls and precise flame characteristics.

  • Grease means an organic substance recoverable by procedures set forth in "Standard Methods" and includes but is not limited to hydrocarbons, esters, fats, oils, waxes and high molecular carboxylic acids;

  • Gasification means the substoichiometric oxidation or steam reformation of a substance to produce a gaseous mixture containing two or more of the following: (i) oxides of carbon; (ii) methane; and (iii) hydrogen;

  • Recycled water or “reclaimed water” means treated or recycled waste water of a quality suitable for non-potable uses such as landscape irrigation and water features. This water is not intended for human consumption.

  • Ethanol blended gasoline means the same as defined in section 214A.1.

  • Hot water means water at a temperature of 110°F. or higher.

  • Ethanol means a high octane gasoline blend stock that is used to make various grades of gasoline.

  • licensed water supplier means a company which is the holder for the time being of a water supply licence under Section 17A(1) of the 1991 Act(f);

  • Anaerobic digestion ’ means a controlled process involving microbial decomposition of organic matter in the absence of oxygen ;

  • Feedstock Gas means natural gas used as a raw material for its chemical properties in creating an end product.

An anaerobic digester is a LMSA and is required to comply with all requirements applicable to LMSAs. Requirements specific to anaerobic digesters will be noted when applicable.

  • Blending means either the mixing of originally segregated Binned Grades within a Facility or during the outturn process.

  • Biomass means the biodegradable fraction of products, waste and residues from biological origin from agriculture (including vegetal and animal substances), forestry and related industries including fisheries and aquaculture, as well as the biodegradable fraction of industrial and municipal waste;

  • Gasohol means a blended fuel composed of gasoline and fuel grade ethanol.

  • Bulk gasoline plant means a gasoline storage and distribution facility with an average daily throughput of 20,000 gallons (76,000 liters) of gasoline or less on a 30-day rolling average.

  • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel means diesel fuel that has a sulfur content of no more than fifteen parts per million.

  • Biogas means gaseous fuels produced from biomass;

  • Biodiesel means a fuel composed of mono-alkyl esters of long chain fatty acids derived from vegetable oils or animal fats, and, in accordance with standards specified by the American society for testing and materials, designated B100, and meeting the requirements of D-6751, as approved by the department of agriculture.

  • Blendstock means and includes any petroleum product component of motor fuel, such as naphtha, reformate, or toluene; or any oxygenate that can be blended for use in a motor fuel.

  • Fuel means any solid, liquid or gaseous combustible material;
