Designated Airlines definition

Designated Airlines means an airline or airlines that have been designated and authorized in accordance with Article 3 of this Agreement;

Designated Airlines means the air transport enterprises which the aeronautical authorities of one of the Contracting Parties have notified in writing to the aeronautical authorities of the other Contracting Party as being the airlines designated by it for the operation of the specified air services. The Annex to this Agreement shall be deemed to be part of the Agreement and all references to the "Agreement" shall include reference to the Annex, except where otherwise expressly provided.

Examples of Designated Airlines in a sentence

  • The Designated Airlines may elect to perform their own surface transportation or to provide it through arrangements with other surface carriers, including surface transportation operated by other airlines and indirect providers of air cargo transportation.

  • For this purpose, the Designated Airlines shall have the right to use its own transportation documents.

  • Such filing by or on behalf of the Designated Airlines may be required by no more than 30 days before the proposed date of effectiveness.

  • There shall be no restriction on the capacity and the number of frequencies and/or type(s) of aircraft to be operated by the Designated Airlines of both Parties in any type of service (passenger, cargo, separately or in combination).

  • A failure by a Holder to (x) make such election or (y) surrender any Notes to be converted to the Conversion Agent pursuant to Section 10.02, in each case, on or before the third (3rd) Business Day before the Fundamental Change Repurchase Date (the “Fundamental Change Election Date”) shall be deemed to constitute an election to require the Company to repurchase such Holder’s Notes for the Fundamental Change Repurchase Price.

  • The exemptions provided for by this Article shall also be available in situations where the Designated Airlines of either Party have entered into arrangements with another airline(s), for the loan or transfer in the Territory of the other Party, of the regular equipment and the other items referred to in paragraph (1) of this Article, provided that the other airline enjoys the same exemption(s) from that other Party.

  • designated airline means an airline designated and authorized in accordance with Article 3 of this Agreement;

  • Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.

  • Fixed wing turbine powered aircraft means an aircraft that:

  • Air ambulance means any aircraft specifically constructed, modified, or equipped and used for the primary purpose of responding to emergency calls and transporting critically ill or injured patients whose medical flight crew has at a minimum two attendants certified or licensed in advanced life support.

  • Coach means an individual, with coaching endorsement or authorization as required by Iowa law, employed by a school district under the provisions of an extracurricular athletic contract or employed by a nonpublic school in a position responsible for an extracurricular athletic activity. “Coach” also includes an individual who instructs, diagnoses, prescribes, evaluates, assists, or directs student learning of an interscholastic athletic endeavor on a voluntary basis on behalf of a school or school district.
