Examples of Sanctioned Territory in a sentence
No proceeds of any Loan made or Letter of Credit issued hereunder will be used to fund any operations in, finance any investments or activities in, or make any payments to, a Sanctioned Person or a Sanctioned Territory in any manner that would result in a violation of any Sanctions, Anti-Corruption Law or Anti-Money Laundering Law by any Person (including any Lender, Bank Product Provider, or other individual or entity participating in any transaction).
Neither the Purchaser nor its authorized signatory is or is acting on behalf of a person that is (a) the target of Sanctions; (b) a Person that is organized, located, resident, or otherwise doing business in any Sanctioned Territory, which countries or territories, as of the date of this Agreement, are Iran, Syria, Cuba, North Korea, the Crimea region, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, and the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic; or (c) any Person owned or controlled by any Sanctioned Persons.
For the past ten years, the Company, the Operating Partnership and their subsidiaries have not knowingly engaged in, are not now knowingly engaged in, and will not knowingly engage in, any dealings or transactions with any person that at the time of the dealing or transaction is or was the subject or the target of Sanctions or with any Sanctioned Territory.
