Sanctioned Territory definition

Sanctioned Territory means a country or territory that is the subject of comprehensive economic Sanctions including, without limitation, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the Crimea.

Sanctioned Territory means any country or other territory subject to a general export, import, financial or investment embargo under Sanctions.

• Neither the Adviser nor the Administrator has knowingly engaged in any dealings or transactions with or for the benefit of a Sanctioned Person, or with or in a Sanctioned Territory, nor does the Adviser or the Administrator have any plans to increase its dealings or transactions with or for the benefit of Sanctioned Persons, or with or in Sanctioned Territories.

Customer shall immediately notify AvePoint if it has any information or suspicion that there may be a violation of this Section. Customer also represents and warrants that it is aware of, understands, and agrees to comply with, and to avoid any activity that may cause it or AvePoint to violate, applicable anti-bribery and anti- corruption laws including, but not limited to, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (15 U.S.C. §§ 78dd-1, et seq.) as amended and the UK Bribery Act 2010 (as applicable) (collectively, “Anti-Corruption Laws”). If Customer takes any action that could constitute a violation of this Section or any Anti- Corruption Laws, AvePoint may immediately terminate this Agreement.

Sanctioned Territory means, at any time, a country or territory against which the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and its Member States, the United Nations Security Council or other applicable authority maintains country-wide or territory-wide Sanctions (at the time of this Agreement, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Crimea region of Ukraine, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic of Ukraine).

Sanctioned Territory means at any time, a country or territory which is, or whose government is, the subject of Sanctions broadly prohibiting dealings with such country, territory or government (at the time of this Agreement, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Crimea region of Ukraine, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic and the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic);
