Disease Field definition

Disease Field has the meaning set forth in the Vaccine Collaboration Agreement.
Disease Field means the field of inducing an active, long term prophylactic response or therapeutic immune response against Hepatitis B (including chronic status) in humans.
Disease Field means a field specific to a class of diseases. Examples include, but are not limited to: (i) cancer; (ii) cardiovascular disease (atherosclerosis, congestive heart failure, etc.); (iii) immune/inflammatory disorders (rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, etc.); (iv) respiratory diseases (asthma, emphysema, central obstructive pulmonary disease, etc.); (v) central nervous system disorders (Alzheimer’s disease, Xxxxxxxxx’x, etc.); and (vi) metabolic diseases (obesity, diabetes, etc.).

Examples of Disease Field in a sentence

  • Isconova shall manufacture and supply to Genocea all Licensed Adjuvants reasonably requested by Genocea for its evaluation of each Disease Field prior to the commencement of a GLP toxicity study for a Licensed Product in each such Disease Field (such supplies of Licensed Adjuvants, the “Evaluation Supplies”).

  • If a second Licensed Product in the same Disease Field should reach Development Milestone C, for the second Licensed Product Genocea would pay Isconova for Development Milestone C (but not for Development Milestone A and B).

  • Following a Disease Field Exchange Request, the procedures for selecting Time-Limited Exclusive Option Fields in Section 2.1.2(a) and Non-Exclusive Option Fields in Section 2.1.3(a), as the case may be, will apply with necessary changes (mutatis mutandis).

  • Prior to the replacement of any Time-Limited Exclusive Disease Field or Non-Exclusive Disease Field pursuant to Section 2.2.1 or Section 2.2.2, Genocea shall deliver a written notice to Isconova stating the Disease (the “Exchange Field Candidate”) with which Genocea would like to replace a Disease that, at the time, then underlies a Time-Limited Exclusive Disease Field or Non-Exclusive Disease Field, as the case may be, (“Disease Field Exchange Request”).

  • COMPANY does not perform any of the foregoing three actions within [***] months after the date of a Disease Field Inquiry Notice, then M.I.T. may grant a license to such third party and, upon the effective date of such license, that DISEASE FIELD will be removed from this Agreement.

  • Incyte represents and warrants to Novartis that, as of the Effective Date, it does not Control any Ruxolitinib Backup Compounds for use in any Indication within the Graft-Versus-Host Disease Field.
