The IHS will review information from the Tribal Supervisor, develop a complete record of documentation available to the IHS, evaluate the concerns about the Officer’s conduct or performance, and forward the record to the USPHS Commissioned Corps or other HHS Operational Divisions as necessary to take any action that may be appropriate to promote the quality of services provided by the Officer on this detail or any future assignment.
Appropriate flexibility will be provided for individual Divisions in implementing these benchmarks, giving consideration to specific Division-level financial, operational, and competitive conditions.
