Where the Cruise is seagoing but does not call at more than one country (Domestic Carriage) then the provisions of the Athens Convention 1974 may apply.
Domestic Carriage: Any carriage other than that specifically defined as International Carriage.Excess Baggage: Any checked bag, gate checked bag or personal item that causes a Passenger to exceed the Standard Bag Allowance (as defined in that Section) in number, size and/or weight, but which is not overweight/oversized.
Any tax or charge imposed by a government or other public authority or by an operator of an airport in respect to a Passenger or his/her use of any services or facilities shall be in addition to the published fares and charges and be payable separately by the Passenger; provided, however, that fares and charges on Domestic Carriage shall include an amount equal to consumption taxes (including local consumption taxes).
For Domestic Carriage only, ice skates are permitted in Carry-on Baggage.
International Carriage (“International”) means any carriage other than Domestic Carriage, however, when the Warsaw and/or Montreal Conventions are applicable, the stated definitions of “International” therein shall prevail.
