Dry Gas Scrubber definition

Dry Gas Scrubber or “DGS” shall mean a pollution control device that removes SO2 from flue gas by injecting a reagent in one or more absorber vessels designed to provide intimate contact and to react with and remove SO2 from the flue gas stream forming a dry particulate containing reaction products and unreacted reagent which is captured in a particulate control device.
