Earnings Factor definition

Earnings Factor means the product of (1) the prime interest rate as of the first business day within the accounting period as established by the Company's principal bank, or such other interest rate as may be designated from time to time by the Committee and (2) a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of full calendar months in the accounting period and the denominator of which is 12. If the accounting period is other than one or more full calendar months, the Committee shall appropriately modify the fraction calculated under the preceding sentence.
Earnings Factor means the Performance Factor determined with --------------- respect to the Company's Earnings Per Share for the relevant Performance Period. The Earnings Factor shall be applicable in computing a Participant's ITIP Bonus for the Performance Period ending December 31, 2001 and not for subsequent Performance Periods.

  • TSR means, for each of the Company and the Peer Companies, the company’s total shareholder return, expressed as a percentage, which will be calculated by dividing (i) the Closing Average Share Value by (ii) the Opening Average Share Value and subtracting one from the quotient.

  • Moody’s Discount Factor means the discount factors set forth in the Moody's Guidelines for use in calculating the Discounted Value of the Fund's assets in connection with Moody's long-term preferred share ratings of the VRDP Shares at the request of the Fund.

  • Total Open-End Mutual Fund Average Net Assets means the average of all of the determinations of the aggregate net assets of all open-end funds sponsored by Xxxxxx Management (excluding the net assets of such funds investing in, or invested in by, other such funds, such as Xxxxxx RetirementReady® Funds and Xxxxxx Money Market Liquidity Fund, to the extent necessary to avoid "double-counting" of such net assets) at the close of business on each business day during each month while the Management Contract is in effect.

  • NET INVESTMENT FACTOR The net investment factor for each subaccount is determined by dividing (1) by (2) and subtracting (3) from the result, where:

  • Interest Factor means monthly compounding, discounting or annuitizing, as applicable, at a rate set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Inflation Factor means a number determined for each tax year by dividing the consumer price index for June of the tax year by the consumer price index for June 2005.

Each such measure shall be, to the extent applicable, determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles as consistently applied by the Company (or such other standard applied by the Committee) and, if so determined by the Committee, and in the case of a Performance Compensation Award, to the extent permitted under Code Section 162(m), adjusted to omit the effects of extraordinary items, gain or loss on the disposal of a business segment, unusual or infrequently occurring events and transactions and cumulative effects of changes in accounting principles. Performance Measures may vary from Performance Period to Performance Period and from Participant to Participant, and may be established on a stand-alone basis, in tandem or in the alternative.

  • Multiplier means the Multiplier specified in the Table.

  • Return on Equity means the percentage equal to the Company’s Net Income divided by average stockholder’s equity, determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
