Educational Incentive. For those employees receiving educational incentive payments at the time of layoff, upon reemployment such employees shall be eligible to receive educational incentive.

Educational Incentive. Upon re-employment, any employee who had been receiving educational incentive as per Section 807 at the time of layoff shall, upon reinstatement, be eligible to receive that same type/level of educational incentive received at time of layoff.
Educational Incentive. Employees may improve their job skills by taking related coursework at a college, university, or vocational center. Employees taking courses under this provision would use acquired training in their current position with the Polk County School Board. Educational Incentive. The Sheriff’s Office shall make annual education incentive payments to those employees who receive job related degrees in a field of study that pertains to their job description from accredited institutions. The degrees and payments shall be: Associate Degree $200.00 Baccalaureate Degree $400.00 Master’s Degree $600.00 The payments shall be made in a lump sum amount subject to appropriate deductions in either the last pay period in June or the first pay period of July each calendar year. Only those employees who are employed and working as of June 01 each year shall be eligible for the incentive payment and who have worked at least six (6) months during the prior twelve (12) months. Educational incentive payments are not cumulative.
