Eligible QF definition

Eligible QF means any renewable technology small power production facility or non-gas or oil cogenerator that, as of November 1, 2000, was a party to a power purchase agreement with EDISON.

Any Municipal Obligation that is a part of an original issue size of less than $10 million must carry a rating of at least “AA” by S&P or “AAA” by Moody’s, Fitch or another nationally recognized statistical rating organization. Notwithstanding the foregoing limitations:

  • Eligible Country means the countries and territories eligible for participation in procurements.

  • Eligible Counterparty means any bank or financial institution (which for these purposes shall include any leading dealer or broker in commodity and commodity index swap transactions) incorporated, domiciled and regulated in an OECD country with a rating equal to the Eligible Counterparty Threshold Rating or higher (or the equivalent rating from any other Rating Agency) or having the benefit of an enforceable guarantee from an Affiliate with a rating equal to the Eligible Counterparty Threshold Rating or higher (or the equivalent rating from any other Rating Agency).

  • Eligible Bank means a bank or trust company that (i) is organized and existing under the laws of the United States of America or Canada, or any state, territory, province or possession thereof, (ii) as of the time of the making or acquisition of an Investment in such bank or trust company, has combined capital and surplus in excess of $500.0 million and (iii) the senior Debt of which is rated at least “A-2” by Moody’s or at least “A” by Standard & Poor’s.

  • Eligible Account Holder means any Person holding a Qualifying Deposit on the Eligibility Record Date for purposes of determining Subscription Rights and establishing subaccount balances in the liquidation account to be established pursuant to Section 15 hereof.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, it is understood and agreed that any Portfolio Investments that have been contributed or sold, purported to be contributed or sold or otherwise transferred to any Financing Subsidiary, or held by any Financing Subsidiary, or which secure obligations of any Financing Subsidiary, shall not be treated as Eligible Portfolio Investments until distributed, sold or otherwise transferred to the Borrower free and clear of all Liens (other than Eligible Liens). Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing herein shall limit the provisions of Section 5.12(b)(i), which provide that, for purposes of this Agreement, all determinations of whether an Investment is to be included as an Eligible Portfolio Investment shall be determined on a settlement-date basis (meaning that any Investment that has been purchased will not be treated as an Eligible Portfolio Investment until such purchase has settled, and any Eligible Portfolio Investment which has been sold will not be excluded as an Eligible Portfolio Investment until such sale has settled), provided that no such Investment shall be included as an Eligible Portfolio Investment to the extent it has not been paid for in full.

  • Qualified GIC A guaranteed investment contract or surety bond providing for the investment of funds in the Custodial Account and insuring a minimum, fixed or floating rate of return on investments of such funds, which contract or surety bond shall:

  • Eligible Unbilled Receivable means, at any time, any Unbilled Receivable if (a) the related Originator has recognized the related revenue on its financial books and records under GAAP, and (b) not more than thirty (30) days have expired since the date such Unbilled Receivable arose.

  • Eligible LC Bank means either a U.S. commercial bank, or a foreign bank issuing a Letter of Credit through its U.S. branch; and in each case the issuing U.S. commercial bank or foreign bank must be acceptable to Buyer in its sole discretion and such bank must have a Credit Rating of at least: (a) “A-, with a stable designation” from S&P and “A3, with a stable designation” from Moody’s, if such bank is rated by both S&P and Moody’s; or (b) “A-, with a stable designation” from S&P or “A3, with a stable designation” from Moody’s, if such bank is rated by either S&P or Moody’s, but not both, even if such bank was rated by both S&P and Moody’s as of the date of issuance of the Letter of Credit but ceases to be rated by either, but not both of those ratings agencies.

  • Eligible Unit means, as of the time any Liquidating Gain is available to be allocated to an LTIP Unit or a Performance Unit, an LTIP Unit or Performance Unit to the extent, since the date of issuance of such LTIP Unit or Performance Unit, such Liquidating Gain when aggregated with other Liquidating Gains realized since the date of issuance of such LTIP Unit or Performance Unit exceeds Liquidating Losses realized since the date of issuance of such LTIP Unit or Performance Unit, as applicable.

  • Eligible company means a public company as referred to in sub-section (1) of section 76, having a net worth of not less than one hundred crore rupees or a turnover of not less than five hundred crore rupees and which has obtained the prior consent of the company in general meeting by means of a special resolution and also filed the said resolution with the Registrar of Companies before making any invitation to the Public for acceptance of deposits

  • Eligible advance means an advance made before August 19, 1993.
