EMD Medical Director definition

EMD Medical Director means the Agency’s Medical Director or a person who is licensed as a physician in California, board certified or qualified in emergency medicine; who possesses knowledge of emergency medical systems in California and of the local jurisdiction; and who provides emergency medical dispatch medical direction to the EMD Provider Agency.
EMD Medical Director means a physician who is authorized to practice medicine in Alaska who assumes medical oversight of emergency medical dispatch services, including the approval of systematized caller interrogation questions, systematized pre-arrival instructions, and protocols to match the dispatcher's evaluation of injury or illness severity and the number of victims with vehicle response modes and configurations;
