Examples of Emergency Case in a sentence
You or your Authorized Representative may seek an expedited review in the event of an Emergency Case as that term is defined in this section.
An "Emergency Case" shall be a landing in case of a relevant event (e.g. illness or death of a passenger, technical defect at the A/C etc.) or threat of violence.
Once expedited review is initiated, clinical review will determine if you have a medical condition which meets the definition of an Emergency Case.
If we determine that an Emergency Case does exist, then the expedited review request will be reviewed by a physician who is board certified or eligible in the same specialty as the treatment under review and who is not the individual (or the individual’s subordinate) who made the initial decision.
Except for an Emergency Case (Claim Involving Urgent Care), the Plan or the Plan’s Designee shall provide to the Commissioner any information requested by the Commissioner no later than seven working days from the date the Plan or the Plan’s Designee receives the request for information.
