Employee Grievance Representative definition

Employee Grievance Representative means an employee who has been designated by the PBA to investigate grievances and to represent grievants at Step 1 when the PBA has been selected as the employee’s representative.

  • An employee may request that a PBA Staff Representative or Employee Grievance Representative be present during any disciplinary investigation meeting in which the employee is being questioned relative to alleged misconduct of the employee, or during a predetermination conference in which suspension, dismissal, disciplinary demotion, or reduction in base pay of the employee is being considered.

  • The PBA may be represented by a PBA Staff Representative or legal counsel in addition to or in lieu of an Employee Grievance Representative or Alternate Employee Grievance Representative.

  • The PBA shall provide written notification to the Chief of Police and the Human Resources Director of the names of the employees designated as the Employee Grievance Representative and the Alternate Employee Grievance Representatives.

  • Employee Representative means the authorized representative of employees at a site where there is a recognized labor organization representing employees.
