Management Representative definition

Management Representative means an individual designated to hear grievances on behalf of the University.

Management Representative means any individual working at or above the level of supervisor or crew chief who is responsible for directing the work of employees and who exercises independent judgment with respect to the direction of such work. The term includes human resources representatives, strategic advisors, and departmental equal employment opportunity officers, but excludes individuals employed in the City's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

Management Representative means a person of managerial or supervisory status who is not subject to exclusion. Legal counsel is not included within the meaning of the term.

Examples of Management Representative in a sentence

• Before receiving a grievance in writing, it shall be presented verbally to the appropriate Management Representative by the employee and or his/her Union Representative or Xxxxxxx.

• LCOG and Contractor may each change the designation of its Field Representative and Management Representative, but shall maintain at all times during the term of this Contract both a designated Field Representative and a designated Management Representative.

• Management shall have the right to include another Management person, in addition to the Management Representative designated, at any meetings under Article 3.

• Contractor shall, within seven (7) days after the effective date of this Contract, designate to LCOG its Field Representative and Management Representative, the latter of whom shall be an executive level individual with authority to settle disputes.

• If LCOG’s Contract Manager and Contractor’s Field Representative are not able to resolve the dispute within seven (7) days after their first meeting (or such longer period of time as may be mutually agreed upon), either party may request that LCOG and the Contractor's Management Representative meet at least once to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute.

More Definitions of Management Representative

Management Representative means not only persons holding the title Manager, but also any other person(s) properly designated and appointed by such official to act in his stead.

Management Representative is defined in Section 7.17 of this Agreement.

Management Representative means (a) Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxxx during such time as he is the Chief Executive Officer of SDS, (b) such successor person who is approved from time to time as the Management Representative in accordance with this Agreement, or (c) at any time when there is no Management Representative identified in accordance with the foregoing provisions, the Chief Executive Officer of SDS. Successor Management Representatives may be approved in writing by a Majority in Interest of the Management Shares then held by Managers then employed by the Company, excluding, for the purposes of such calculation, the existing Management Representative, provided that such approval must occur no earlier than ten (10) business days after notice proposing a successor Management Representative is given to all such Managers, which notice may be sent only at the direction of (x) the current Management Representative, (y) the holders of at least 15% in interest of the Management Shares held by Managers (and their Manager Designees) then employed by the Company or (z) the Requisite Principal Investors.
