Entertainment establishment definition

Entertainment establishment means a development where persons may be entertained by music, theatre, or the like. An entertainment establishment includes theatre, dancing or cabaret entertainment, whether recorded or live. An eating and drinking establishment may contain within it an entertainment establishment, but only if specifically provided for in an approved development permit;
Entertainment establishment. – means a premise, building, land, or structure used for leisure activities in which the consumer or customer acts as an observer and does not actively participate. It shall include, but is not limited to, motion picture premises or theatres, live performance theatres, planetariums, concert halls, and other similar uses.
Entertainment establishment means a development where indoor entertainment is provided to the public, either exclusively or in combination with other activities, and may include live, dinner, or movie theatres, but not amusement arcades or bingo or casino facilities.

Entertainment establishment means a development or a part thereof where persons may be entertained by music, theatre, or the like. An entertainment or cultural establishment includes theatre, dancing or cabaret entertainment, whether recorded or live. An eating and/or drinking establishment may contain within it an entertainment or cultural establishment, but only if specifically provided for in an approved Development Permit. An adult entertainment establishment is not considered an entertainment establishment for the purposes of this Bylaw;
Entertainment establishment means the use of any lot, building or structure, or part thereof, for the provision of entertainment or amusement without the necessity of active participation by the user and shall include such uses as an arena, movie theatre, cinema, concert hall, playhouse, arcade, bingo and public dance hall, or similar use when the principal focus of the use is assembly or spectating for entertainment. Exterior Side Lot Line means the lot line(s), other than a front lot line, of acorner lot which abuts the street. Exterior Yard means a yard extending from the front yard to the rear lot line between the exterior side lot line and the nearest part of any building or structure on the lot. Entertainment establishment means an Establishment providing musical, dramatic, dancing, or cabaret entertainment and/or facilities for alcoholic beverage consumption and includes supplementary food service. This term refers to Uses such as Theatres, cinemas, auditoria, beverage rooms, cocktail lounges, cabarets, nightclubs, and Theatre restaurants. “Eating and Drinking Establishment” is a separate Use.
Entertainment establishment means a facility where entertainment is provided to the public, either exclusively or in combination with other activities and may, without restricting the generality of the foregoing, include a night club, live theatre, or cinema, or a dance floor within a bar or pub. Entertainment establishments do not include a drinking or an eating establishment by definition. Neither do drinking or eating establishments include an entertainment establishment by definition. If there is a proposal to develop an entertainment establishment within a drinking or an eating establishment, such as an area where a band or a performer or a disk jockey may play music and/or an area where patrons may dance, it shall be considered as a separate development from the eating or drinking establishment and required a separate development permit; (établissement de divertissement)
