European Monetary System means the European Monetary System established by the Resolution of December 5, 1978 of the Council of the European Communities.
European Community means the territory comprised by the Member States of the European Community as constituted from time to time;
Major European Country means the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain or Italy.
Major European Countries means France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Website of the European Central Bank means the website of the European Central Bank currently at http://www.ecb.europa.eu or any successor website officially designated by the European Central Bank.
European Subprocessor means a Subprocessor that is physically processing Personal Data in the EEA or Switzerland.
European Communities means the European Economic Community, the European Coal and Steel Community and the European Atomic Energy Community.
European Commission means the European Commission or any successor entity that is responsible for granting Marketing Approvals authorizing the sale of pharmaceuticals in the European Union.
Major EU Country means one or more of the following countries within the European Union: France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Treaty on European Union means the Treaty of Rome of March 25, 1957, as amended by the Single Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000 and the Maastricht Treaty (which was signed at Maastricht on February 1, 1992 and came into force on November 1, 1993), as amended from time to time.
European Union means the member nations of the European Union established by the Treaty of European Union, signed at Maastricht on February 2, 1992, which amended the Treaty of Rome establishing the European Community.
Municipal Finance Management Act means the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003);
Banking Day Financial Centre means the Banking Day Financial Centre as specified in § 1 of the Product and Underlying Data.
Health Canada means the Canadian federal Department of Health and any successor thereof.
Relevant Banking Day means a day on which commercial banks are open for business (including dealings in foreign exchange and foreign currency deposits) in the place where the specified office of the Registrar is located and, in the case only of an exchange of a Bearer Note for a Registered Note where such request for exchange is made to the Principal Paying Agent, in the place where the specified office of the Principal Paying Agent is located;
EU means the European Union.
EU GDPR means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
London Business Day means any Business Day on which dealings in deposits in United States Dollars are transacted in the London interbank market.
Nodal Ministry means the Ministry or Department identified pursuant to this order in respect of a particular item of goods or services or works.
Eurozone means the countries and territories listed in the Annex of Council Regulation (EC) No. 974/98 of 3 May 1998 on the introduction of the Euro, in its current version.
GDPR means the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
Limited Indexation Month means any month specified in the relevant Final Terms for which a Limited Indexation Factor is to be calculated;
London Banking Day means any day on which dealings in Dollar deposits are conducted by and between banks in the London interbank eurodollar market.
Central Bank Rules means the UCITS Regulations, Central Bank Regulations and any regulations, guidance and conditions issued by the Central Bank from time to time pursuant to the UCITS Regulations, the Central Bank Regulations and/or the Central Bank Act regarding the regulation of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities, as such may be amended, supplemented or replaced from time to time;
Pivotal Clinical Trial means a pivotal human clinical trial of a Licensed Product with a defined dose or a set of defined doses of such Licensed Product designed to ascertain efficacy and safety of such Licensed Product for the purpose of enabling the preparation and submission of an MAA to the competent Regulatory Authorities in a country of the Territory, as further defined in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(c) for the U.S., as amended from time to time, or the corresponding foreign regulations.
Relevant Financial Centre Day means a day on which commercial banks and foreign exchange markets settle payments and are open for general business (including dealings in foreign exchange and foreign currency deposits) in the principal financial centre or centres for the currency in which payment falls to be made (or, in the case of payments which fall to be made in euro, a Euro Business Day or, where such currency is a National Currency Unit (as defined in Condition 9) and the Notes have been redenominated into euro pursuant to Condition 9, the former principal financial centre or centres) and in any other place set out in the Final Terms;
