Examination and Approval Authority definition

Examination and Approval Authority means the appropriate PRC government department with the legal authority to approve this Contract and the Articles of Association under the applicable PRC laws and regulations.

Examination and Approval Authority means the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation or the examination and approval authority entrusted thereby.

• Amendments to this Contract and the other contracts contemplated herein may be made only by a written agreement in English and Chinese signed by duly authorized representatives of each of the Parties and, unless prior approval from the Examination and Approval Authority is statutorily required, will become effective as soon as the amendments are filed with the Examination and Approval Authority for record.

Examination and Approval Authority pursuant to the provisions for the examination and approval of projects which have investments by foreign investors in the PRC, refers to the relevant Chinese government departments having authority to examine and approve this Agreement and the transfer of the Equity Stake contemplated in this Agreement.
