• Please note a licence classified as, or comparable to a Green P licence will be accepted, however the Authorised Driver agrees to be bound by any restrictions or conditions imposed on or in connection with that licence and is aware that any Excess Reduction Cover may be voided and this Agreement may be terminated if such restrictions or conditions are not adhered to.

• All Mechanical breakdowns are covered by JUCY’s relevant Roadside Assistance program and include the following: Engine Faults Electrical Faults Cooling system Vehicle recovery All Non-Mechanical breakdowns are subject to the relevant call out fees being charged by RACQ, or any other third party supplier and are not covered by Stress Free Plus or Stress Free Excess Reduction Cover, an administration fee may also be applied by JUCY.

• If the Hirer elects not to use Excess Reduction Cover, the excess payable by the Hirer is the Standard (Risk Taker) Excess as per the Rental Agreement and is payable for each and every event involving the Vehicle.

• These fees apply regardless what Excess Reduction Option you have.

In the case of special hires or lease to buy arrangements Ace Rent A Car may stipulate additional Excluded Areas without in any way being seen to permit Off Road use. Gazetted Road means a sealed or Unsealed Road regularly maintained by a local, state or government body or council and upon which the general public have unlimited rights of access. GST refers to Goods and Services Tax which is a value added tax such as VAT. Hirer’s Covenants means the obligations of the Hirer pursuant to these conditions including to secure property, pay monies and/or indemnify Ace Rent A Car. Illegal Purpose means a purpose contrary to law or in breach of a statute or regulation and this includes a contravention of any of the provisions of any road traffic act of the State or Territory in which the Vehicle is being used. Offence includes an infringement. Off Road means any road which is not a Sealed Road or a Gazetted Road and includes: driving surfaces which are not traditionally paved or sealed/bituminised such as beaches, sand, gravel, riverbeds, mud, snow, rocks and other natural terrain; and, roads for which an access permit is required.
