Expected Dividend Amount definition

Expected Dividend Amount has the meaning specified in Section VII(a).
Expected Dividend Amount means the sum of, for each Expected Dividend with an Expected Dividend Ex-Dividend Date (as defined below) occurring on or before the relevant Settlement Date or Cash Settlement Payment Date, as applicable, such Expected Dividend, plus an accrual thereon for the period, if any, from and including the related Expected Dividend Payment Date (as defined below) to but excluding such Settlement Date or Cash Settlement Payment Date at a per annum rate equal to the Federal Funds Open Rate minus the Fixed Charge for each day in that period, compounded on each such day and calculated on an Actual/360 basis.
Expected Dividend Amount means, for any Expected Ex-Dividend Date, the amount set forth with respect to such date under “Expected Dividend Schedule” on the face of this Note.

Examples of Expected Dividend Amount in a sentence

  • For purposes hereof, "Expected Dividend Amount" shall mean $0, the cash dividend last paid by the Issuer immediately preceding the Effective Date.

More Definitions of Expected Dividend Amount

Expected Dividend Amount means, with respect to any calendar quarter, the amount per share of Common Stock specified as such in Annex C in respect of such calendar quarter, subject to adjustment in accordance with Sections VI and VIII.

Expected Dividend Amount means CHF 10,294,665 multiplied by the product of the Number of Outstanding Units divided by the Initial Number of Units.

Expected Dividend Amount means, with respect to the Underlying Security, $0.39 for each Expected Ex-Dividend Date; provided, however, that the Expected Dividend Amount as of any Trading Day shall be subject to proportional adjustment, in the sole discretion of the Calculation Agent, on account of the occurrence of certain corporate actions on or after the Trade Date.
Expected Dividend Amount means the expected dividend amount for the new record date for dividend after the change of record date. If the issuer that changed the record date has not decided (or has not disclosed) the dividend amount for the new record date yet, then, under the general rule for such cases, the actual dividend amount for the same period of the previous year is set as the “Expected Dividend Amount.” For example, if the record date for the end-of-term dividend is changed in the fiscal year ending in March 2020, and no expected dividend amount is disclosed by the issuer, the amount of dividend actually paid out for the fiscal year ending in March 2019 is used as “Expected Dividend Amount.”
Expected Dividend Amount has the meaning specified in Section VII(a). “Final Notice Date” means January 4, 2009. “Final Notice Event” means the occurrence of the failure by the Company to provide Citigroup with the Pricing Period Notice by the Final Notice Date. “Indemnified Party” has the meaning specified in Section XIV. “Initial Settlement Date” has the meaning specified in Section II(b). “Initial Share Price” has the meaning specified in Section II(a). “Loss” has the meaning specified in Section X(a). “Loss Notice” has the meaning specified in Section X(a). “Loss of Borrow Termination” has the meaning specified in Section VI(b). “Make-Whole Amount” has the meaning specified in Section III(d). “Market Disruption Event” means any (i) suspension of or limitation imposed on trading by any exchange or market on which the Common Stock is listed for trading, (ii) event that disrupts or impairs (in the reasonable business judgment of Citigroup) the ability of market participants in general to effect transactions in, or obtain market values for, the shares of Common Stock or futures or options contracts relating to the Common Stock or (iii) material decrease, on any Trading Day, in the trading volume for the Common Stock such that in the reasonable business judgment of Citigroup it cannot purchase the contemplated number of shares for such Trading Day. “Maximum Borrow Cost” means 25 basis points per annum based on the closing price per share of Common Stock on the Trading Day immediately preceding the relevant day. “Non-Defaulting Party” has the meaning specified in Section IX. “Number of Initial Shares” has the meaning specified in Section II(a). “Payment Shares” has the meaning specified in Section III(b). “Pricing Period” means the period of Trading Days commencing on the Pricing Period Commencement Date and ending on the Trading Day, on which the Remaining Share Amount is equal to zero. “Pricing Period Commencement Date” has the meaning set forth in Annex C hereto. 2
