The other Party shall have the opportunity to provide its comments on the request to the Expert Appointing Authority.
Appointing authority means the head of an employing unit authorized by ordinance or City Charter to employ others on behalf of the City, or a designated management representative. The term includes and can be used interchangeably with department head, department director, superintendent, and chief.
Adjudicating Authority or “NCLT” shall mean the Hon’ble Mumbai Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal;
investigating authority means an authority that in terms of national legislation may investigate unlawful activities;
Implementing Authority means the Municipal Manager or his or her nominee, acting in terms of section 100 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act No. 32 of 2000.
Controlling Authority means the Minister administering the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984.
Provisional appointment means the employment of a person to a vacant position for no more than a six-month period for emergency or in interim conditions. The General Manager may extend a provisional appointment for up to an additional six-month period.
Permitting authority means the Iowa department of natural resources or the director thereof.
Contracting Authority means any contracting authority as defined in Regulation 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.
Accounting Authority means the Board of PRASA;
Governing authority means the local legislative authority
Administering Authority means a governmental employee, or a regional planning commission empowered under s. 62.234, Wis. Stats., that is designated by the Common Council to administer this ordinance.
Court appointed special advocate means a volunteer guardian ad litem appointed by the court who is responsible for: researching the background of assigned child abuse, neglect and dependency cases; representing the child's best interests; speaking for the child in all hearings, reviews and other relevant case activities; monitoring the child during the life of the case; and advocating for a safe and permanent home for the child.
Inspecting Authority means the authorised representative of the Department to act as Inspecting Authority for the purpose of this contract and for the purpose of ascertaining the progress of the deliveries under the contract.
Requesting Authority means the Authority making a request under this MoU.
Authority Board means the Board of Directors of the Authority.
Approving Authority means a government (federal, provincial or municipal), governmental agency, Crown corporation, or quasi-governmental authority (a privately operated organization exercising authority delegated by legislation or a government).
Planning Authority means the responsible entity that coordinates and integrates transmission facility and service plans, resource plans, and protection systems.
Certifying Authority means a person who has been granted a licence to issue a Digital Signature Certificate under section 24;
acquiring authority means the Minister responsible for lands or any other Minister whom the President may appoint as an acquiring authority for the purposes of this section;
