FAA Certificates definition

FAA Certificates mean, collectively, all certificates required by the FAA and the FARs for the manufacture, design, production, maintenance, use or sale of any Aircraft, including, with respect to any Grantor, each Airworthiness Certificate issued with respect to such Aircraft and each other certificate issued in favor of any Grantor under the FARs pursuant to which such Grantor maintains, operates or sells Aircrafts or Spare Parts, as the same now exists or may hereafter be amended, supplemented, renewed, extended, reissued, or replaced.

Examples of FAA Certificates in a sentence

• Licensed Pilots – Only aircraft with current and correct FAA Certificates of Registration and Airworthiness and persons holding valid and current airman and medical certificates issued by the FAA, for those flight operations requiring medical certificates, shall be authorized to operate aircraft upon the Airport.

• The student should note that the FAA Practical Test is a requirement for course completion, and the issuance of a valid FAA Certificate(s) will be a requirement for enrollment in any subsequent courses.

• Range Safety services encompass NASA- required functions of enforcing field-based range safety requirements, flight planning, range safety decision-making, and flight reporting (the Range Safety Duties) during UAV flight tests in the National Airspace System under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved methods including FAA Certificates of Authorization (COAs), the NASA-FAA UAS Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on restricted airspace.

• Each Credit Party shall obtain, maintain and preserve, and take all necessary action to timely renew, all permits, licenses, FAA Certificates, authorizations, approvals, entitlements and accreditations which are necessary or useful in the proper conduct of its business.

• Range Safety services encompass NASA-required functions of enforcing field-based range safety requirements, flight planning, range safety decision-making, and flight reporting (the Range Safety Duties) during UAS flight tests in the National Aerospace System under FAA-approved methods including FAA Certificates of Authorization (COAs), the NASA-FAA UAS Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or restricted airspace.
