Fair Housing Policy Related to Disability definition

Fair Housing Policy Related to Disability means the documents containing the policies of the City, as amended periodically, that ensure all Housing Developments be constructed and operated in accordance with all applicable Accessibility Laws, including federal accessibility requirements. The current policies can be accessed on the City’s Accessible Housing Program Website. HUD may require modifications to these policies post-closing.
Fair Housing Policy Related to Disability means the document containing the policy of the City, as amended periodically, that all affordable housing developments monitored by the City be constructed and operated in accordance with all applicable disability and fair housing laws and under which the Borrower is required to create a Property Management Plan (“Property Management Plan” or “PMP”) as described in Section 4 that must comply with the requirements and guidance in the Fair Housing Policy Related to Disability. The PMP must be consistent with the City’s Property Management Plan template and must be approved by the City along with other requirements, as amended periodically.

  • Compliance with the policies shall include, but not be limited to, target marketing, establishing and monitoring a waiting list specific to the Accessible Units, appropriately responding to Reasonable Accommodation requests, implementation of the assistance animal policies, implementation of the policies for re-leasing vacant Accessible Units, and all elements contained in the Fair Housing Policy Related to Disability, as amended.

  • Following reasonable notice to the Borrower, Borrower shall allow the City to conduct periodic on-site inspections of the Housing Development in order to verify compliance with the Accessibility Standards and the City’s Fair Housing Policy Related to Disability.

  • The City will monitor the initial production and ongoing occupancy of the Accessible Units and the Housing Development to ensure full compliance with the Accessibility Standards, the Fair Housing Policy Related to Disability and the policies in Sections 1 – 4, above.

  • Child with a disability means a child who, by reason of any of the following, needs special education and related services:

  • Student with a disability is defined as an individual who: ● is still enrolled in secondary school and has not exited, graduated, or withdrawn; ● is at least 14 years old but less than 22; ● and has a disability (i.e., receives services under an IEP or 504 plan, or has a disability for purposes of section 504). The limited Pre-ETS that may be provided, based on identified need and the availability of services, include: ● Job exploration counseling ● Work-based learning experiences, which may include in-school or after school opportunities, experiences outside of the traditional school setting, and/or internships ● Counseling on opportunities for enrollment in comprehensive transition or post- secondary educational programs ● Workplace readiness training to develop social skills and independent living ● Instruction in self-advocacy Authorizations for Pre-ETS.   • Housing Provider means, with respect to a HOME Development, Local Government, consortia approved by HUD under 24 CFR Part 92, for-profit and Non-Profit Developers, and qualified CHDOs, with demonstrated capacity to construct or rehabilitate affordable housing.
