Fairness Hearing definition

Fairness Hearing means a hearing on the settlement proposed in this Settlement Agreement held by the Court to determine whether the proposed settlement is fair, reasonable, and adequate, and whether it should be finally approved by the Court.
Fairness Hearing means the hearing scheduled by the Court to consider (a) any objections from Class Members to the Settlement Agreement, (b) Class Counsel’s petition for Attorneys’ Fees and Costs and Class Representatives’ Compensation, and (c) whether to finally approve the Settlement under Fed. R. Civ. P. 23.
Fairness Hearing means the hearing before the Court relating to the Motion for Final Approval.

More Definitions of Fairness Hearing

Fairness Hearing means the hearing at or after which the Court will make a final decision whether to approve this Agreement as fair, reasonable and adequate.
Fairness Hearing or “Final Approval Hearing” means the final hearing to be conducted by the Court, on notice to the Settlement Class, to consider approval of the Settlement and Class Counsel’s motion for approval of attorneys’ fees and reimbursement of costs and expenses.
