Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or "FERC" means the
FCC Order means Federal Communications Commission Order 94-102 (61 Federal Register 40348)
Central Commission means the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission referred to in sub-section (1) of section 76 of the Act;
FERC means the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) means the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission or its duly authorized representatives.
Communications Act means the Communications Act of 1934, as amended.
FCC means the Federal Communications Commission.
statutory authority This agreement implements Iowa Code § 280.25 and is consistent with 34 C.F.R. 99.38 (2012).
FCC Applications means those applications and requests for waivers required to be filed with the FCC to obtain the approvals and waivers of the FCC pursuant to the Communications Act and FCC Rules necessary to consummate the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.
Mediation communication means a statement, whether oral, in a record, verbal or nonverbal, that occurs during a mediation or is made for purposes of considering, conducting, participating in, initiating, continuing, or reconvening a mediation or retaining a mediator.
DOJ means the United States Department of Justice.
CPSC means the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
County authority means the board of county commissioners,
Ministry of Justice Guidance means Ministry of Justice Guidance in relation to Section 9 of the Bribery Act 2010 available at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.xx/guidance/docs/bribery-act-2010-guidance.pdf;
securities regulatory authority or “SRA” means a body created by statute in any Canadian or foreign jurisdiction to administer securities law, regulation and policy (e.g. securities commission), but does not include an exchange or other self regulatory entity;
FTC means the United States Federal Trade Commission.
Relevant Electric Retail Regulatory Authority means an entity that has jurisdiction over and establishes prices and policies for competition for providers of retail electric service to end- customers, such as the city council for a municipal utility, the governing board of a cooperative utility, the state public utility commission or any other such entity.
MPUC means the Maine Public Utilities Commission.
Port Authority means a port authority created under Chapter 4582. of the Revised Code.
CPUC means the California Public Utilities Commission.
FDA means the United States Food and Drug Administration and any successor agency thereto.
Civil Service Commission means the commission required under Section 5 of Article XI of the Michigan Constitution of 1963.
Interstate commission means the Interstate Commission for Juveniles created by Article III of this compact.
Informal communications means any communication method other than written emails to the Point of Contact Person identified for this RFP.
PUC means any state regulatory agency or body that exercises jurisdiction over the rates or services or the ownership, construction or operation of any network facility or long distance telecommunications systems or over Persons who own, construct or operate a network facility or long distance telecommunications systems, in each case by reason of the nature or type of the business subject to regulation and not pursuant to laws and regulations of general applicability to Persons conducting business in such state.
MPSC means the Michigan Public Service Commission or its successor.
