Applicable Law means all laws, statutes, common law, regulations, ordinances, codes, rules, guidelines, orders, permits, tariffs and approvals, including those relating to the environment or health and safety, of any Governmental Authority that apply to the Parties or the subject matter of this Agreement.
Requirement of Law as to any Person, the Certificate of Incorporation and By-Laws or other organizational or governing documents of such Person, and any law, treaty, rule or regulation or determination of an arbitrator or a court or other Governmental Authority, in each case applicable to or binding upon such Person or any of its property or to which such Person or any of its property is subject.
Financing of Terrorism means the provision or collection of funds, by any means, directly or indirectly, with the intention that they should be used or in the knowledge that they are to be used, in full or in part, in order to carry out any of the offences within the meaning of Articles 1 to 4 of the EU Council Framework Decision 2002/475/JHA of 13 June 2002 on combating terrorism.
Legal Requirement means any treaty, convention, statute, law, regulation, ordinance, license, permit, governmental approval, injunction, judgment, order, consent decree or other requirement of any governmental authority, whether federal, state, or local.
AML Legislation has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 9.16(a).
State law means the unemployment insurance law of any state, approved by the United States secretary of labor under section 3304 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
Applicable law and regulations means the Federal Credit Union Act and rules and regulations issued thereunder or other applicable federal and state statutes and rules and regulations issued thereunder as the context indicates.
PRC Law means the then valid laws, administrative regulations, administrative rules, local regulations, judicial interpretations and other binding regulatory documents of the People’s Republic of China.
Applicable Laws/ Rules means the laws/ Rules of Islamic Republic of Pakistan/Punjab, as they may be issued and enforced from time to time.
Law means any statute, law, ordinance, regulation, rule, code, order, constitution, treaty, common law, judgment, decree, other requirement or rule of law of any Governmental Authority.
Constitutive Act means the Constitutive Act of the African Union;
Mandatory Requirements means those requirements described herein, which shall be fully satisfied in order for any Proposal to be considered by the City as a qualified Proposal.
Health Care Law means any Applicable Law regulating the acquisition, construction, operation, maintenance or management of a health care practice, facility, provider or payor, including without limitation, 42 U.S.C. ss.1395nn and 42 U.S.C. ss. 1320a-7b.
Family Law Act means the Family Law Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. F.3, as am. S.O. 2006, c. 1, s.5; 2006, c. 19, Sched. B, s. 9, Sched. C, s. 1(1), (2), (4);
enforcement authority means any person or body having jurisdiction to enforce or to take action under or in respect of the relevant legal requirement.
POPI Act means the Protection of Personal Information Act, No.4 of 2013;
Administrative law judge means an individual or an agency
Mandatory Policies means the following of our business policies and codes:
Electronic Transactions Act means the Electronic Transactions Act (As Revised) of the Cayman Islands.
Liquor Laws means all applicable federal, state and local statutes, laws, rules and regulations pursuant to which Liquor Authorities possess regulatory, licensing or permit authority over the sale, distribution and possession of alcoholic beverages.
Export Law means all constitutions, laws, statutes, codes, ordinances, orders, judgments, decrees, injunctions, rules, regulations, permits restrictive measures, trade sanctions, embargos and other legally binding requirements of all federal, country, international, state and local governmental authorities relating to export, re-export or import.
Legal Requirements means any federal, state, local, municipal, foreign or other law, statute, constitution, principle of common law, resolution, ordinance, code, order, edict, decree, rule, regulation, ruling or requirement issued, enacted, adopted, promulgated, implemented or otherwise put into effect by or under the authority of any Governmental Entity.
AML Laws means all laws, rules, and regulations of any jurisdiction applicable to any Lender, the Company or the Company’s Subsidiaries from time to time concerning or relating to anti-money laundering.
Liquor Act means the Liquor Act 2007 and any regulation made under the Liquor Act 2007. Any reference to a provision of the Liquor Act includes a reference to the same or similar provision in any legislation replacing, amending or modifying the Liquor Act however that provision may be amended in that legislation.
