Fiji fishing vessel definition

Fiji fishing vessel means any fishing vessel which is registered in Fiji or the operations of which are based on a place in Fiji and which is wholly owned by, or is under exclusive charter to, a natural person who is a resident of, or a company incorporated in, Fiji;
Fiji fishing vessel means a vessel which is registered in Fiji under the Marine Act 1986 and is operated and authorised to fish in accordance with Fiji law and includes a Fiji chartered fishing vessel;
Fiji fishing vessel means any fishing vessel which is registered in Fiji or the operations of which are based on a place in Fiji and which is wholly owned by a natural person who is a citizen of, or a company, which is at least 30% owned by Fiji citizens, incorporated in, Fiji. For the purpose of avoiding doubt, any fishing vessel which is not a Fiji fishing vessel by this definition shall be considered for licensing under the provisions of the Marine Spaces Act.
