Financially Settled Futures definition

Financially Settled Futures means a Futures Product which is designated as “Fin” in the ICE NGX Product List and may be made available on the ICE NGX Trading System, and which must be cleared on the ICE NGX Clearing System with such further particulars as are applicable in Schedule “E”;

Related to Financially Settled Futures

  • Financial Futures Contract means the firm commitment to buy or sell fixed income securities including, without limitation, U.S. Treasury Bills, U.S. Treasury Notes, U.S. Treasury Bonds, domestic bank certificates of deposit, and Eurodollar certificates of deposit, during a specified month at an agreed upon price.

  • California Renewables Portfolio Standard means the renewable energy program and policies codified in California Public Utilities Code Sections 399.11 through 399.31 and California Public Resources Code Sections 25740 through 25751, as such provisions may be amended or supplemented from time to time.

  • Related Futures or Options Exchange for the Index means an exchange or quotation system where trading has a material effect (as determined by the Calculation Agent) on the overall market for futures or options contracts relating to the Index.

  • Controlled unaffiliated business means a company:

  • Stock Index Futures Contract means a bilateral agreement pursuant to which the parties agree to take or make delivery of an amount of cash equal to a specified dollar amount times the difference between the value of a particular stock index at the close of the last business day of the contract and the price at which the futures contract is originally struck.

  • FICASH III Transaction means a repurchase transaction in which the Repurchase Date is the Banking Day next following the Sale Date and for which securities issued by the government of the United States of America that are direct obligations of the government of the United States of America shall constitute Eligible Securities.

  • Determining Futures Exchange means the options and/or futures exchange, on which respective derivatives of the Underlying (the "Derivatives") are mostly liquidly traded, such options and/or futures exchange shall be determined by the Calculation Agent acting in accordance with relevant market practice and in good faith by way of notice pursuant to § 6 of the General Conditions.In the case of a material change in the market conditions at the Determining Futures Exchange, such as a final discontinuation of derivatives' quotation linked to the Underlying at the Determining Futures Exchange or a considerably restricted number or liquidity, it shall be substituted as the Determining Futures Exchange by another options and/or futures exchange that offers satisfactorily liquid trading in the Derivatives (the "Substitute Futures Exchange"); such options and/or futures exchange shall be determined by the Calculation Agent acting in accordance with relevant market practice and in good faith. In the event of such substitution, any reference to the Determining Futures Exchange in the Terms and Conditions of these Securities shall be deemed to refer to the Substitute Futures Exchange.

  • Appraisal management company means, in connection with valuing properties collateralizing mortgage loans or mortgages incorporated into a securitization, any external third party that oversees a network or panel of more than fifteen certified or licensed appraisers in this state or twenty-five or more nationally within a given year, that is authorized either by a creditor of a consumer credit transaction secured by a consumer's principal dwelling or by an underwriter or other principal in the secondary mortgage markets that engages in appraisal management services.

  • Renewable Portfolio Standard or “RPS” means a state or federal law, rule or regulation that requires a stated amount or minimum proportion or quantity of electricity that is sold or used by specified persons to be generated from Renewable Energy Sources.

  • Card Transactions means the value of goods and services purchased by means of the Card, and evidenced by sales receipt, or cash withdrawals effected with his Card, or at any point of sale.

  • Retail Settlement Code means the code approved by the Board and in effect at the relevant time, which, among other things, establishes a distributor’s obligations and responsibilities associated with financial settlement among retailers and customers and provides for tracking and facilitating customer transfers among competitive retailers;

  • Viatical settlement contract or “contract” means a written agreement entered into between a provider and a viator in which the provider will pay consideration that is less than the expected death benefit of the viator's policy in return for the viator's assignment, transfer, sale, devise, or bequest of the death benefit or ownership of the policy to the provider.

  • Hedging Transaction means any short sale (whether or not against the box) or any purchase, sale or grant of any right (including, without limitation, any put or call option) with respect to any security (other than a broad-based market basket or index) that includes, relates to or derives any significant part of its value from the Common Stock.

  • Early Settlement has the meaning specified in Section 5.9(a).

  • Average Daily Managed Assets of the Fund shall mean the average daily value of the total assets of the Fund, less all accrued liabilities of the Fund (other than the aggregate amount of any outstanding borrowings constituting financial leverage). The Adviser may waive a portion of its fees. If this Agreement becomes effective subsequent to the first day of a month or shall terminate before the last day of a month, compensation for such month shall be computed in a manner consistent with the calculation of the fees payable on a monthly basis. Subject to the provisions of Section 5 below, the accrued fees will be payable monthly as promptly as possible after the end of each month during which this Agreement is in effect.
