First Class County Cricket Club definition

First Class County Cricket Club means any of the clubs and/or companies from time to time listed in schedule B to the ECB’s articles of association and/or any county cricket club from time to time playing in the County Championship;
First Class County Cricket Club means any professional cricket club which is recognised by the ECB as being a first class County Cricket Club, and which shall include any future entity which enjoys comparable status (whether operating as a franchise team, or otherwise) as determined in its absolute discretion by the Players’ Committee;
