First Point of Processing definition

First Point of Processing means the location where harvested crops, bees, fowl, fish, livestock, animals, or their products, such as wool, milk, or eggs, are first altered from their original state, or the first location where unaltered products are packaged and prepared for transportation. First point of processing is not a location of the product’s final use and for some crops the location may be in the field, such as chipping wood. First point of processing also includes biomass facilities that receive agricultural waste in the form of unprocessed agricultural materials. A first point of processing may include, but is not limited to, packinghouses, slaughterhouses, cotton gins, nut hullers/shellers and processors, dehydrators, lumber mills, feed and grain mills, and biomass facilities. First point of processing does not include distribution centers, wholesale retail sales locations where the first processing of product does not occur, livestock auction houses, and subsequent locations where processing, canning, or similar activities occur after departing a first point of processing location.

Such locations include, but are not limited to, packinghouses, slaughterhouses, cotton gins, nut hullers/shellers and processors, dehydrators, lumber mills, feed and grain mills, and biomass facilities located at a first processing facility, such as a saw mills, or biomass facilities that receive more than half of its waste in the form of unprocessed agricultural materials. First point of processing does not include locations where subsequent processing, canning, or similar activities occur.

Related to First Point of Processing

  • point of metering means the point at which the customer’s consumption of electricity is metered and which may be at the point of supply or at any other point on the distribution system of the municipality or the electrical installation of the customer, as specified by the municipality; provided that it shall meter all of, and only, the customer’s consumption of electricity;

  • point of supply means the point determined by the Municipality or any duly authorised official of the Municipality at which electricity is supplied to any premises by the Municipality;

  • Point of Interconnection means the point or points where the Customer Interconnection Facilities interconnect with the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities or the Transmission System.

  • Point of Presence or "POP" means the Point of Presence of an IXC. "Pole Attachment" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 10.8.1.

  • Interconnection Point means the point(s) of connection(s) at which the project is connected to the grid i.e. it shall be at 11 / 22 kV bus bar level of substation of MSEDCL.

  • Point of Sale means, for a Placement, the time at which an acquiror of Placement Shares entered into a contract, binding upon such acquiror, to acquire such Placement Shares.

  • Meet-Point Billing (MPB) refers to the billing associated with interconnection of facilities between two or more LECs for the routing of traffic to and from an IXC with which one of the LECs does not have a direct connection. In a multi-xxxx environment, each Party bills the appropriate tariffed rate for its portion of a jointly provided Switched Exchange Access Service.

  • Point of Reception means any point on the premises of a person where sound or vibration originating from other than those premises is received.

  • Loading Zone means a parking stall which is set aside for use by commercial vehicles if there is a sign referable to that stall marked ‘Loading Zone’;

  • Connection Point means an exit point or an entry point or a bidirectional point identified or to be identified as such in an access contract.

  • Interconnection is As Defined in the Act.

  • Point of Order means a matter that a Member considers to be a departure from or contravention of the rules, procedures or generally accepted practices of Council.

  • Point of Delivery , or “POD” means the point at which electrical energy is transferred from a transmission facility owner’s Transmission Facility to a distribution system and where the electric energy so transferred is measured;
