Fiscal intermediary services means an information technology system
Fiscal intermediary services means an information technology system including but not limited to electronic visit verification, third-party liability, financial management, provider management system, care management, healthcare claims and encounter processing, payment integrity, data warehousing, and pharmacy benefit management, that is used for managing all or part of a Medicaid program.
Fiscal intermediary services or “FI” means services that are designed to assist the participant in allocating funds as outlined in the Individual Service and Spending Plan and to facilitate employment of personal assistance staff by the participant.

  • Fiscal intermediary services must be performed by entities with demonstrated competence in managing budgets and performing other functions and responsibilities of a fiscal intermediary.

  • Fiscal intermediary services may not be authorized for use by a beneficiary’s representative where that representative is not conducting tasks in ways that fit the beneficiary’s preferences and/or do not promote achievement of the goals contained in the beneficiary’s IPOS so as to promote independence and inclusive community living for the beneficiary, or when they are acting in a manner that is in conflict with the interests of the beneficiary.

  • Investment Management Services means any services which involve: (i) the management of an investment account or Fund (or portions thereof or a group of investment accounts or Funds); (ii) the giving of advice with respect to the investment and/or reinvestment of assets or funds (or any group of assets or funds); or (iii) otherwise acting as an “investment adviser” within the meaning of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended, including, without limitation, in each of the foregoing cases, performing activities related or incidental thereto.

  • Financial Services Provider means any Lender and any other provider of financial services or products;

  • Payment Services means such Services as We provide in relation to payments into and out of Your Account.
