General User Permit definition

General User Permit means a permit issued to any user other than a Significant Industrial User as provided by this Article to control discharges to the POTW and to ensure compliance with applicable pretreatment standards and requirements.

Examples of General User Permit in a sentence

  • Failure to comply with a General User Permit issued under this Subsection constitutes a violation of this Ordinance.

  • In no case shall a General User Permit be construed to authorize the illegal discharge or otherwise excuse a violation of this Ordinance.

  • To the extent determined appropriate by the POTW Manager on a case-by-case basis, a General User Permit issued under this Subsection shall be subject to provisions otherwise applicable to permits for SIUs. However, all General User Permits shall be non-transferable, and are subject to the permit fee and permit appeals provisions of this Ordinance.

  • Failure to comply with a General User Permit issued under this Subsection constitutes a violation of this Article.

  • If a regular member is absent or disqualified, such member shall designate an alternate to act in his stead.

  • The Authorized Local Unit Representative may require any person other than a SIU to obtain a General User Permit to discharge to the POTW, subject to such terms and conditions as are determined necessary and appropriate by the Representative to achieve the purposes, policies, and objectives of this Article.

  • It is unlawful for any user required by the POTW Manager to obtain a General User Permit to discharge to the POTW without a General User Permit as provided by this Article.

  • The POTW Manager may require any user other than a SIU to obtain a General User Permit to discharge to the POTW, subject to such terms and conditions as are determined necessary and appropriate by the POTW to achieve the purposes, policies and objectives of this Ordinance.

  • To the extent determined appropriate by the Authorized Local Unit Representative on a case-by-case basis, a General User Permit issued under this Subsection shall be subject to provisions otherwise applicable to permits for SIUs. However, all General User Permits shall be non-transferable, and are subject to the permit fee and permit appeals provisions of this Article.

  • It is unlawful for any User required by the Genesee County POTW Manager to obtain a General User Permit to discharge to the Genesee County POTW without a General User Permit as provided by this Article.

Related to General User Permit

  • Special use permit means a permit issued in accordance with Chapter 10, Special Use Permit Act.

  • Alcohol use means the consumption of any beverage, mixture, or preparation, including any medication, containing alcohol.

  • Agricultural use means the use of any pesticide or method or device for the control of pests in connection with the commercial production, storage or processing of any animal or plant crop. “Agricultural Use” does not include the sale or use of pesticides in properly labeled packages or containers which are intended for: (A) Home use, (B) Use in structural pest control, or (C) Industrial or Institutional use. For the purposes of this definition only:

  • Final permit means the version of a permit issued by the Department that has completed all review procedures required by Chapter 14, and for a Class I permit, Chapter 13.

  • Commercial Use means the use to which the material can commercially be put.

  • Issuer General Use Free Writing Prospectus means any Issuer Free Writing Prospectus that is intended for general distribution to prospective investors (other than a “bona fide electronic road show,” as defined in Rule 433 (the “Bona Fide Electronic Road Show”)), as evidenced by its being specified in Schedule 2-B hereto.

  • Personal use means for the private use of the individual

  • Commercial User means all retail stores, restaurants, office buildings, laundries, and other private business and service establishments.

  • Industrial User means a nondomestic discharger, as identified in 40 CFR Part 403, introducing pollutants to a POTW.

  • Industrial use means the use of natural gas, electricity, heat, coal, fuel oil, or other fuels:

  • General permit means a Permit which covers multiple dischargers of a point source category within a designated geographical area, in lieu of individual Permits being issued to each discharger.

  • Residential use means the use in or around a home, apartment building, sleeping quarters, and similar facilities or accommodations.

  • Medical use means the intentional internal or external administration of radioactive material or the radiation from radioactive material to patients or human research subjects under the supervision of an authorized user.

  • Conditional use means a land use that, because of its unique characteristics or potential impact on the municipality, surrounding neighbors, or adjacent land uses, may not be compatible in some areas or may be compatible only if certain conditions are required that mitigate or eliminate the detrimental impacts.

  • Residential User means all dwelling units such as houses, buildings, mobile homes, apartments, permanent multi-family dwellings.

  • Parking Permit means a permit issued by the Council to residents allowing the parking of a vehicle in a residents parking bay on the highway within the area of the Council but not including a disabled person’s “purple badge” issued pursuant to Section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970

  • Special permit means permission granted specifically on application in advance and in accordance with Annex II and Annex III.

  • Residential Uses means lands, Buildings or structures or portions thereof used, or designed or intended for use as a home or residence of one or more individuals, and shall include Single Detached Dwelling, Semi-Detached Dwelling, Multiple Dwelling, Apartment Dwelling, and the residential portion of a mixed-use Building or structure;
