Where it becomes necessary to provide and / or store petroleum products, explosives, chemicals and liquid or gaseous fuel or any other substance that may cause fire or explosion, the contractor shall be responsible for carrying out such provision and/or storage in accordance with the rules and regulations laid down in the relevant Government Acts, such as Petroleum Act, Explosives Act, petroleum and Carbides of Calcium Manual of the Chief Controller of Explosives, Government of India etc.
The contractor shall conform to the provisions of any Government Acts, which relate to works and to the regulations and byelaws of any local authorities.
