HITECH Act definition

HITECH Act means the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, TitleXIII, Subtitle D, Part 1 & 2 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
HITECH Act means the provisions of Division A, Title XIII of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, known as The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health, Act 42 U.S.C. §3000 et. seq., and implementing regulations and guidance, including the regulations implemented in 78 Fed. Reg. 5566 (January 25, 2013).
HITECH Act means the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, Public Law 111-005 (the “HITECH Act”).

  • BA shall not disclose Protected Information in any manner that would constitute a violation of the Privacy Rule or the HITECH Act if so disclosed by CE.

  • Promptly upon any disclosure of Protected Information for which CE is required to account to an individual, BA and its agents and subcontractors shall make available to CE the information required to provide an accounting of disclosures which would allow CE to fulfill its obligations under the Privacy Rule, including, but not limited to, 45 C.F.R.
