Households Passed definition

Households Passed means, as of any relevant date, the aggregate number of residential dwelling units to which the facilities of TCI Parent's Cable Subsidiaries either (i) are capable, as of such date, of providing Local Telephony Service by means of an existing customer drop or other similar connection or (ii) could legally provide Local Telephony Service using a customer drop or other similar connection no more than two hundred (200) feet in length (exclusive of any wiring within the applicable structure and assuming that the applicable owner or occupant consented to receipt of Local Telephony Service). For purposes of this definition, each residential dwelling unit in a multiple dwelling unit that is otherwise within the foregoing definition will be counted as one Household Passed.
Households Passed means, with respect to any geographic area, the aggregate number of Households in such area that either (i) are capable, as of the time of such determination, of receiving CATV Service by means of an existing Customer Drop or other similar connection or (ii) could legally (assuming the owner consented to receipt of CATV Service) receive CATV Service subject only to the installation of a Customer Drop no more than two hundred

Examples of Households Passed in a sentence

  • If INSIGHT or an INSIGHT Affiliate obtains such Service Rights within 180 days of receipt of AT&T's notice, and provides reasonable written evidence thereof to AT&T, then (a) with respect to an Excluded MDU, the provisions of Section 3.1.2 shall apply, and (b) with respect to a MDU which is not an Excluded MDU, the dwelling units of such MDU shall be Residential Households Passed and shall be subject to all applicable terms of this Agreement.

  • Households means one or more natural persons or a family who pays 30 percent of their household income toward their monthly rent and is determined by Grantee to be eligible for rental assistance under this Agreement.

  • Household goods means personal effects and property used or to be used in a dwelling when a part of the equipment or supply of that dwelling. Household goods do not include property moving from a factory or store, unless the property was purchased by the householder with intent to use the property in his or her dwelling, the property is transported at the request of the householder, and the householder pays the carrier's transportation charges either directly or indirectly.

  • Eligible Household means a household charged a UEC on their natural gas and/or electricity for the residence at which they reside as evidenced by their utility bill or UEC-participating utility vendor, has annual income at or below the current income limits of the federal poverty level, and meets other income criteria for assistance from the Nevada Fund for Energy Assistance and Conservation. Conversely, households not charged a UEC are ineligible for assistance from the fund. A household that receives benefits funded with LIHEAP grant monies may also be referred to as an eligible household in this plan. Also, refer to “UEC Eligible.”

  • Units serving lower income households means units that are occupied by lower income households at an affordable rent, as defined in section 50053 of the Health and Safety Code or, to the extent that the terms of federal, state, or local financing or financial assistance conflicts with section 50053, rents that do not exceed those prescribed by the terms of the financing or financial assistance. Effective October 13, 2017, pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code section 214(g)(2)(A)(iii), a unit in a property that receives federal low income housing tax credits shall continue to be treated as occupied by a lower income household if the occupants were lower income households on the lien date in the fiscal year in which their occupancy of the unit commenced and the unit continues to be rent restricted, notwithstanding an increase in the income of the occupants of the unit to 140 percent of area median income (AMI), adjusted for family size (“over-income” tenants). Units reserved for lower income households at an affordable rent that are temporarily vacant due to tenant turnover or repairs shall be counted as occupied.

  • Family or household members means spouses, domestic partners, former spouses, former domestic partners, persons who have a child in common regardless of whether they have been married or have lived together at any time, adult persons related by blood or marriage, adult persons who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past, persons sixteen years of age or older who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past and who have or have had a dating relationship, persons sixteen years of age or older with whom a person sixteen years of age or older has or has had a dating relationship, and persons who have a biological or legal parent-child relationship, including stepparents and stepchildren and grandparents and grandchildren.

  • Adult means a person 18 years of age or older.

  • Member of the household means any person who resides with the public official.

  • Household members means those persons who reside in the same home, who have reciprocal duties to and do provide financial support for one another. This term shall include xxxxxx children and legal wards even if they do not live in the household. The term does not include persons sharing the same general house, when the living style is primarily that of a dormitory or commune;

  • Rubbing alcohol means any product containing isopropyl alcohol (also called isopropanol) or denatured ethanol and labeled for topical use, usually to decrease germs in minor cuts and scrapes, to relieve minor muscle aches, as a rubefacient, and for massage.

  • Small Diversity business concern means a small business concern that is at least fifty-one (51) percent unconditionally owned by one or more individuals who are both socially and economically diverse, or a publicly owned business that has at least fifty-one (51) percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one or more socially and economically diverse individuals and that has its management and daily business controlled by one or more such individuals. This term also means a small business concern that is at least fifty-one (51) percent unconditionally owned by an economically diverse Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian Organization, or a publicly owned business that has at least fifty-one (51) percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one of these entities, that has its management and daily business controlled by members of an economically diverse Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian organization.

  • Family caregiver means a relative by blood, marriage, or Adoption who lives with or is the primary Caregiver of the terminally ill Member.

As used in this subparagraph, "providing babysitting services" means caring for a child on behalf of the child's parent or guardian if the annual compensation for providing those services does not equal or exceed $600.00 or an amount that would according to the internal revenue code of 1986 obligate the child's parent or guardian to provide a form 1099-MISC to the individual for compensation paid during the calendar year for those services.
