Illegal connections definition

Illegal connections means connections to the water or sewer system that have not been approved by the Utility.
Illegal connections means connections to the water distribution and supply system which are not permitted by the Employer;
Illegal connections means any service connections for which no Council approval has been obtained and shall include: tampering with service delivery infrastructure, unauthorized re-connection of services after cut-off, direct connections from neighbors and bypass connections.

Illegal connections means a Direct Connection to the Transferred Assets that (i) is made without required approval from ACHD or DEP, as applicable or (ii) is prohibited by law, such as any Direct Connection that conveys basement seepage, groundwater, stormwater, or surface water, including sump pump drainage, downspout drainage, foundation drainage, roof drainage, and driveway drainage into a separate sanitary Sewer Line. Illegal Connections as used in this Agreement does not include connections by a Governmental Authority over which the Municipality did not have control or authority including any connections made by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Allegheny County, or municipal authorities not under the direct control of Municipality.
