Improper governmental activity definition

Improper governmental activity means an activity by a community college or by an employee that is undertaken in the performance of the employee’s official duties, whether or not that activity is within the scope of his or her employment, and that meets either of the following descriptions:

Improper governmental activity means an activity by a City employee or official that is undertaken in the performance of their duties, undertaken inside a City office, or, if undertaken outside of a City office, directly relates to City government, whether or not that activity is within the scope of their duties, and that is in violation of any law or regulation or is economically wasteful, or involves gross misconduct, gross incompetence, or gross inefficiency. Not all instances of improper conduct will constitute improper governmental activity.

For purposes of sub-sections (a), (c), (d) and (f) above, the General Counsel or the Chief Executive Officer of the Company shall have authority to provide the Participant with written authorization to engage in the activities contemplated thereby and no other person shall have authority to provide the Participant with such authorization.
