Incumbent utility definition

Incumbent utility means the entity that is the owner of the easement.
Incumbent utility means an investor-owned utility that is the subject of a transaction described in ORS 757.814.
Incumbent utility means (a) the electrical utility pursuant to Section 58-27-10, (b) the Public Service Authority of South Carolina, or (c) other person or corporation, including cooperatives, having the right, absent this self-supply option, to provide retail electric service to an eligible electric customer.

  • Incumbent Directors means directors who either (A) are directors of the Company as of the date hereof, or (B) are elected, or nominated for election, to the Board with the affirmative votes of at least a majority of the Incumbent Directors at the time of such election or nomination (but shall not include an individual whose election or nomination is in connection with an actual or threatened proxy contest relating to the election of directors to the Company); or
