Index Linked Interest Note definition

Index Linked Interest Note means a Note in respect of which the amount in respect of interest payable is calculated by reference to an Index and/or Indices and/or a formula as agreed between the Issuer and the relevant Dealer(s), as indicated in the relevant Final Terms.

Index Linked Interest Note means a Note in respect of which the amount in respect of interest payable is calculated by reference to an index and/or a formula as the Issuer and the relevant Dealer may agree, as indicated in the applicable Pricing Supplement;

Index Linked Interest Note means a Note which bears interest at a rate determined by reference to an index or any other variable as specified in the relevant Pricing Supplement and in respect of which Condition 5(e) (Floating Rate Note, Index-Linked Interest Note and other variable-linked interest Note provisions) is applicable;

Examples of Index Linked Interest Note in a sentence

• Where the Specified Denomination of a Floating Rate Note or an Index Linked Interest Note in definitive form is a multiple of the Calculation Amount, the Interest Amount payable in respect of such Note shall be the product of the amount (determined in the manner provided above) for the Calculation Amount and the amount by which the Calculation Amount is multiplied to reach the Specified Denomination, without any further rounding.

• Each Floating Rate Note and Index Linked Interest Note bears interest on its outstanding nominal amount from the Interest Commencement Date at the rate per annum (expressed as a percentage) equal to the Rate of Interest, such interest being payable in arrear on each Interest Payment Date.

• This Note may be a Fixed Rate Note, a Floating Rate Note, a Zero Coupon Note, an Index Linked Interest Note, a Dual Currency Interest Note or a combination of any of the foregoing, depending upon the Interest Basis shown in the applicable Pricing Supplement.
