Interior remodel definition

Interior remodel means construction of a tenant improvement or alteration which results in a change in the land use category of an existing building or structure, or portion thereof, as determined by the Building Official or the Planning Department Development Services Department, and is thereby subject to this chapter.
Interior remodel means construction of a tenant improvement or alteration which results in a change in the use type listed in Article 8 of an existing building or structure, or portion thereof, and that increases the employee density of such building or structure, or portion thereof, as determined by the Chief Building Inspector or the Planning Director, and is thereby subject to this chapter.
