Joint Development Area definition

Joint Development Area means the Joint Development Area under the Law on Thailand-Malaysia Joint Authority.
Joint Development Area means an area within two or more Contract or License Areas encompassing the lateral closure of an Oil and/or Gas reservoir(s) that are proven to underlie and be productive in two or more Contract or License Areas and is designated as such by the Agency.
Joint Development Area means the area defined in section 2 of the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority Xxx 0000 and in section 4 of the Thailand- Malaysia Joint Authority Act B.E. 2533” Article 2 The following new Article shall be inserted immediately after Article 7 of the Agreement: BUSINESS INCOME OR PROFITS FROM THE JOINT DEVELOPMENT AREA (a) Income or profits derived by a person exercising the right to explore and exploit any petroleum in the Joint Development Area under a contract awarded by the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority may be taxable in both Contracting States. (b) Income or profits derived by a person from carrying out activities directly related to exploration and exploitation of any petroleum in the Joint Development Area may be taxable in both Contracting states. The competent authority of both Contracting States shall communicate with each other to identify activities directly related to exploration and exploitation of any petroleum in the Joint Development Area.

More Definitions of Joint Development Area

Joint Development Area means that portion of the Contract Area covered by a Joint Operations Agreement.

  • municipal spatial development framework means a municipal spatial development framework adopted by the Municipality in terms of Chapter 5 of the Municipal Systems Act;

  • Research and development facility means an establishment engaged in laboratory, scientific, or experimental testing and development related to new products, new uses for existing products, or improving existing products. The term does not include an establishment engaged in efficiency surveys, management studies, consumer surveys, economic surveys, advertising, promotion, banking, or research in connection with literary, historical, or similar projects.

  • Development Phase means the period before a vehicle type is type approved.

  • spatial development framework means the Mhlontlo Municipal Spatial Development Framework prepared and adopted in terms of sections 20 and 21 of the Act and Chapter 2 of this By-Law;

  • New development means development resulting from the conversion of previously undeveloped land or agricultural land uses.

  • Economic development means all powers expressly granted and reasonably inferred pursuant to SDCL § 9-54.
