Joint Members definition

Joint Members means, where an entry gives rise to membership of the Association by more than one person, those persons;
Joint Members means any two or more persons carrying on business in partnership and elected to join membership under the Rules;
Joint Members means where the Ship is entered in the names of more than one Member, the named Members.

  • Members are referred generally to the provisions of Rule 9 of the P&I or FD&D Class as appropriate with regard to the rights and obligations relating to Joint Members, Co-Assureds and Affiliated and Associated Persons, or Rule 10 relating to Joint Insured Owners in the case of the War Risks Class.

  • Pursuant to Rule 10 of the P&I and FD&D Classes, where one or more Ships have been entered as a Fleet Entry then the debts of any one Member or Joint Member in respect of any such Entered Ship shall be treated as the debt of all the other Members and Joint Members whose Ships are or were entered at any time as part of the same Fleet Entry and the Association shall be entitled to act as if all the Ships forming the Fleet Entry were entered by the same Member.

  • Any communication by the Association to any one of the Joint Members shall be deemed to be communicated to all.

  • There will be only one Postal Ballot Form for every folio / client ID irrespective of the number of Joint Member(s).

  • The Association shall not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred in connection with any dispute or proceedings between the Joint Members or any of them.

  • Any act or omission of any one of the Joint Members which causes the insurance to cease or which entitles the Association to terminate the insurance or to decline or reduce any compensation shall be deemed an act or omission of all of them.

Related to Joint Members

  • Management Members shall have the meaning set forth in the introductory paragraph of this Agreement.

  • Unit Member refers to any employee who is included in the bargaining unit as defined in Article II.

  • Student Member means the member of ICCB who has been selected by ICCB's Student Advisory Committee. The student member has all the privileges of membership defined in Section 2-3 of the Act.

  • Independent Member of the board means a member of the board who has no business, family or other relationship that raises a conflict of interests regarding the CCP concerned or its controlling shareholders, its management or its clearing members, and who has had no such relationship during the five years preceding his membership of the board;

  • Management Member means any Member that is an employee of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Bargaining Unit Member or “employee” means a University employee who is included in the bargaining unit as defined in Article 2: “Recognition and Scope”.

  • Agent Members has the meaning provided in Section 2.07(a).

  • Partner Group means any legal entity that has direct or indirect Control over the Partner and only as long as that legal entity maintains direct or indirect Control (“Parent Companies”) as well as all Associated Companies of the Parent Companies.

  • Founder Member means a subscriber to these rules for the purposes of registration;

  • Lead Member shall, in the case of a joint venture, mean the member of such joint venture who shall have the authority to bind the contractor and each member of the Joint venture; and shall be deemed to be the Contractor for the purposes of this Agreement; the Lead Member shall itself undertake and perform at least 51% (fifty one per cent) of the total length of the Project Highway;

  • Founding Members means those public school districts, cities, counties, and other governmental units that are signatories to the Joint Powers Agreement and have a voting member serving on the JPA's Board of Directors.

  • Agent Member means any member of, or participant in, the Depositary.

  • Alliance Partner means "Flatworld Trading Pvt Ltd ", who has entered into an alliance agreement with Axis Bank for purpose of providing the Offer.

  • Household members means those persons who reside in the same home, who have reciprocal duties to and do provide financial support for one another. This term shall include xxxxxx children and legal wards even if they do not live in the household. The term does not include persons sharing the same general house, when the living style is primarily that of a dormitory or commune;

  • Intimate partner means: (a) Spouses, or domestic partners; (b) former spouses, or former domestic partners; (c) persons who have a child in common regardless of whether they have been married or have lived together at any time; (d) adult persons presently or previously residing together who have or have had a dating relationship; (e) persons sixteen years of age or older who are presently residing together or who have resided together in the past and who have or have had a dating relationship; and (f) persons sixteen years of age or older with whom a person sixteen years of age or older has or has had a dating relationship.

  • Designated member means the spouse, child, grandchild, parent, brother, or sister of a deceased individual who owned an interest in a wholesaler, who is entitled to inherit the deceased individual's ownership interest in the wholesaler under the terms of the deceased individual's will, or who has otherwise been designated in writing by the deceased individual to succeed the deceased individual in the wholesaler's business, or is entitled to inherit such ownership interest under the laws of intestate succession of this state. With respect to an incapacitated individual owning an ownership interest in a wholesaler, the term means the person appointed by a court as the conservator of such individual's property. The term also includes the appointed and qualified personal representative and the testamentary trustee of a deceased individual owning an ownership interest in a wholesaler.

  • Faculty Member means any person hired by the college or District to conduct classroom or teaching activities or who is otherwise considered by the college to be a member of faculty.

  • Associate Members means the individuals or firms which have agreed to Joint Venture in connection with the Project;

  • Class B Members means any Persons to whom Class B Membership Units are issued, and any assignee or transferee of such Persons permitted under the terms of this Agreement, and any other Person admitted to the Company in the future as a Class B Member pursuant to the terms hereof. The names of the Class B Members, and the Percentage Interests allocated to each such Class B Member, shall be reflected in the books and records of the Company.

  • Panel Member ’ means a member of a panel;

  • ☐ - MULTI-MEMBER The “Capital Account” for each Member shall mean the account created and maintained for the Member in accordance with Section 704(b) of the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulation Section 1.704-1(b)(2)(iv).

  • Class B Member means a Member holding one or more Class B Ordinary Shares.

  • Preferred Member means a Member holding Preferred Units.

  • Service member means a member of the armed forces, a reserve branch of the armed forces, or the Michigan national guard.

  • Investor Limited Partner means any Limited Partner so designated at the time of its admission as a partner of the Partnership.

  • Bankrupt Member means a Member who: (i) has become the subject of a decree or order for relief under any bankruptcy, insolvency or similar law affecting creditors' rights now existing or hereafter in effect; or (ii) has initiated, either in an original proceeding or by way of answer in any state insolvency or receivership proceeding, an action for liquidation, arrangement, composition, readjustment, dissolution, or similar relief.
