Notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement the Minister may at the request of the Joint Venturers from time to time extend or further extend any period or vary or further vary any date referred to in this Agreement or in any approved proposal hereunder for such period or to such later date as the Minister thinks fit whether or not the period to be extended has expired or the date to be varied has passed.
Subject to subclause (2) of this Clause, the amount of royalties that become due for payment by the Joint Venturers in respect of diamonds recovered from the areas the subject of this Agreement under Clause 29 and any increase thereto pursuant to subclause (6) of Clause 30 in respect of each quarter set forth in the Schedule below shall be partially offset by the amount shown as the scheduled offset amount for each quarter.
In this licence: ‑ If the Joint Venturers be more than one the liability of the Joint Venturers hereunder shall be joint and several.
The Joint Venturers shall during the currency of this Agreement consult with and keep the State fully informed on a confidential basis concerning any action that the Joint Venturers propose to take with any third party (including the Commonwealth or any Commonwealth constituted agency authority instrumentality or other body) which might significantly affect the overall interest of the State under this Agreement.
For the purpose of this Agreement in respect of any mining operations of the Joint Venturers under this Agreement the Mines Regulation ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ shall, where such mining operations are being conducted in accordance with a schedule of work approved by the Minister for Mines, be deemed to be modified by the deletion of paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of section 38.
